+1 for being awesome.
What do you use for creature removal, besides Oblation? Wouldn't Cyclonic Rift be better, since it's blue and searchable by Merchant Scroll?

I've considered cards like cyclonic rift or the unrespondable wipe away for this deck. And I finally chose oblation since it's a permanent removal spell and I don't need to worry about my opponent casting that again.
Thanks a lot for upvoting!

Can Razia's Purification find a place in this deck? And what about Brainstorm for when you need to put some spells from your hand on top of your deck for Narset to cast?
December 31, 2015 12:08 p.m.
I used to have those in my decklist but finally i dropped them because even without brainstorm, my deck can work so well as long as i get the ratio between extra combat/turn, land destruction, and ramping cards correct. Razia's purification is good, but i'd rather include another land lockdown card since locking down lands can make my deck more consistent comparing to leaving three permanents for each player.

Was Sword of Feast and Famine ever in the deck? You are already playing Aggravated Assault and Enlightened Tutor. The pro black and green is relevant for getting through attacks and the game ending combo with Aggravated Assault just seems too good.
What situations are you playing Lion's Eye Diamond? This card seems great in a non blue environment. Do you hold the card against blue decks unless Cavern of Souls or Grand Abolisher is on the field? You play more artifacts than any Narset deck I have seen. Has it been your experience that you have dumped your hand making the discard cost irrelevant?

Actually i dont have a aggravated assault in my deck, thats why i dont have a sword of feast and famine included as well. I dont need to play that combo to win the game. With narset alone this deck is strong enough agaist most decks.
Defense grid and silence are two other cards you can use as an anti-counterspell mechanism when you use lion's eye diamond to cast narset. Dumping my hand is worth it as long as narset can be cast successfully.

Thank you for getting back to me so quick. My mistake on the sword. I have been comparing your list and Commander Theory's as you both play creatures. He plays both Sword of Feast and Famine and Aggravated Assault. Have you ever experimented with the Proteus Staff version of the deck?
February 26, 2016 3:02 p.m.
No i haven't. As long as you get the ratio correct, every attack usually reveals at least one extra turn/combat, land destroying card. It's just like chain reaction! Moreover, if i play staff, i have to cut some very powerful creatures in my deck such as generator servant. I wouldnt give up on that.

Another difference between Commander Theory's list and yours is that you play Fabricate in the place of Trinket Mage and do not play Palladium Myr. It seems Fabricate is an upgrade as it can get Lightning Greaves in addition to Mana Crypt. Should Palladium Myr be an artifact that produces colored mana (Azorius Signet, Jeweled Amulet, Pentad Prism)?
February 27, 2016 12:28 p.m.
The reason why i didnt include palladium myr and worn powerstone is because i've got too many artifacts generating colorless mana. I'm trying to find the balance between colored and colorless mana producing stuff.

...Okay, now I'm a seriously casual commander player... and this is the first time I've ever seen a deck like this. Please God, may I never be on the receiving end. Holy expletive expletive, I am dumbstruck. +1. For all that might mean.

nyctophasm, I have two answers for you:
-A: There are plenty of expeditions, but that isn't the biggest cause of the price... Rise? Cliff? Eldrazi-Titan-sized slope? Anyway, moving on.
-B: Here's the big one. All the cards are foil. I don't know why the author chose to do this, but if you make the cards normal rather than foil, it lowers the price tag substantially.
Hopefully that helps. This seems like a very good deck to play with.

Those expeditions NORMALLY wouldn't do much, but they are foil. Normally Arid Mesa or Bloodstained Mire cost like $12 USD, right? When foil, they cost literally 10 times that. That means a combination of points A and B are largely responsible, but they individually still stand.
May 3, 2016 9:31 p.m.
I foiled them because I like this deck so much and couldn't help but foiling them....

I see. Just saying tho, that if anyone wants to buy this deck they will have to take away the foil before ordering.
May 4, 2016 9:07 a.m.
The author is the richest guy in my playgroup, thats why this deck is foiled.

How has this been doing in the competitive scene lately? I haven't seen a Narset deck in a while since Shu Yun became the new Jeskai play thing. I always felt Narset took too long to get started but that's just me.

I have never seen any shu yun deck in my playgroup so I dont know how fast that is. I suppose that commander wins by commander damage? So with that deck you would have to kill your opponents one by one maybe? My deck usually wins before turn five killing all the opponents at once.
