The third of my Super Hordes, the first being Super Horde Magic: Zombies. Look there to find a brief synopsis of this project as well as my recommended special rules for Super Horde as opposed to regular horde.
HORDE SPECIFIC RULES:
Crazed Goblin
is this deck's token.
Empty the Warrens's Storm ability counts the creature tokens that were cast this turn.
Goblin Balloon Brigade
always has flying.
Goblin Dirigible
untaps during the Horde's untap step.
Squee, Goblin Nabob, when returned to the Horde's hand after being destroyed, is played along with the Horde's cards for that turn.
Goblin Sharpshooter
snipes all 1-toughness creatures that players control. Pew pew pew. It is Guarded.
Goblin Ringleader's ability causes the Horde to draw four cards and put any non-goblins among them on the bottom of its deck. The cards that go to its hand are played on its following turn, along with the Horde's cards for that turn.
Goblin Grenade always sacrifices a goblin token if possible, targeting the survivors' health. If no tokens are available, it sacrifices the most recently played creature it controls. If there are no creatures to sacrifice, simply discard it.
goblin bushwacker is always Kicked.
Goblin Razerunners
act as if they used their first ability once each Main Phase of the Horde (They get a +1/+1 counter, the Horde has no lands) including the turn they enter, and at the end of each turn they always choose to deal damage to the survivors' health.
Vandalblast is always Overloaded.
Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician
never uses its second ability and is Guarded.
Goblin Warrens
activates once each turn during the Horde's first main phase, only sacrificing goblin tokens. If two tokens aren't available, it doesn't activate.
Krenko, Mob Boss acts as this deck's commander, coming out on the Horde's fourth turn in addition to the Horde's regular cards for that turn. During the Horde's main phase, it taps and uses its ability. It is Guarded.
Goblin King is Guarded.
Goblin Chieftain is Guarded.
The card-drawer on TappedOut's playtest feature is a bit finicky and... less than random, at times. As in, on average you should have four
Crazed Goblin
s per draw, but on several tests I've drawn upwards of two dozen. If this becomes a problem, you can impose a cap, after which the Horde stops drawing as if it had drawn a non-token card: I recommend trying a cap of 8.
Suggestions very welcome! As far as my Super Horde decks go, this is effectively easy mode. Made to be more funny than good.
