TEGHabibird, appreciate the advice. Though, I do prefer keeping Ashiok in because he/she nullifies scry, helps maintain board advantage using the opponent's creatures, and is great against the mirror match of control, which is prevalent in my meta.

Would you ever consider pulling 1 aetherling for a Thassa? would be a nice combo with vraska/kiora, you might accidentally turn it on once or twice, and who doesn't love that scry..

[stbabs12], a previous iteration of the deck actually ran 2x Thassas over 4x Omenspeaker . The reason I chose to run the speakers over Thassa was because most of the time she #1 cannot block early game, which is important in my aggro-centric meta and #2 is reliant on other cards for maximum potential therefore making her a win more imo.
I also kept my AEtherling count to 2x because of consistency reasons unlike U/W control, I don't have the draw power of Sphinx's Revelation to reliably dig for only 1x in every game. Which is why the deck manipulation is heavily reliant on Scry to filter out the cards I absolutely need and don't need, like a 2nd AEtherling .

I like the deck archetype and am working on something similar.
I would suggest 3 or 4 Lifebane Zombie 's in the sideboard. It's a house against R/G monsters.

hey inzane14 cool deck! i've got a question, what if anything would you recommend as a substitute for Abrupt Decay ?

mahlonn If anything, BUG focuses on versatile spot removal so Doom Blade , Syncopate , Cyclonic Rift , Thoughtseize , or any other form of spot removal is viable. Or even more card draw as well.

Thanks man! I'll keep that in mind as I'm constructing!

Sorry just is not that great without creatures to help fill up the board. BUG decks have heavy hitters at the 4-5 drop which your deck lacks.
