Really awesome deck i build most of it now (without ARBUR Duals :P)!
Why do you include Talismans btw? Also any other tips for replacing ARBUR's?
Hope you keep the deck updated its the best and most consistent version ive found in the last year :)

Talismans are better than signets as they offer the flexibility of tapping for colored mana or colorless without dependence on other lands. I include them as a faster way to get to my walkers as opposed to land ramp spells (which requires a more green mana base to support). ARBURs can be replaced by shocklands, battlelands, checklands, scrylands, and painlands. Hope that helps.

Update: Totally missed Thran Temporal Gateway from Dominaria. Will be testing it out.

Man Dominaria brought so many awesome cards for this deck!
What do you think about History of Benalia btw as a Token Generator, worse than walkers?

Also what does Thran Temporal Gateway do for us?
Is it just there to accelerate a waker like Ugin out faster by essentially paying 4 early and 4 later?
May 2, 2018 11 p.m.
HighOnBuffs: History of Benalia doesn't do much for this deck, I would rather run Bitterblossom over it as it costs less and is easier to cast tbh. Theoretically, Thran Temporal Gateway allows me to play my walkers at instant speed, makes them uncounterable, and "mana fixes" if you don't have the required color to cast a planeswalker. It might be lackluster after testing so who knows?

NeonEndymion: As suspected, Primevals' Glorious Rebirth is pretty much a miss for me. If there isn't a "legendary spell" clause requirement it may be decent mid/late game but the fact that you need to ensure you have a walker/atraxa out to cast it pretty much kills it for me. It makes it too situational and will often times get stuck in your hand when you need it most.

This is far too cute to be consistent, but I'd only run Primevals' Glorious Rebirth in a very causal build, with As Foretold (pray you get it up to 7) and Morality Shift. Sure, it's Magical Christmas Land, but with a relatively full library, it'd be hilarious.
I like your idea of getting some flash action into the game, but haven't been happy so far with Alchemist's Refugetoo much of a strain on mana to leave it up every pass of the turn. I'm testing: Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage, Leyline of Anticipation, and Vedalken Orrery in a flex spot at the moment, as well as tweaking some of the manabase (mostly to try to find at least two slots for Wasteland and Dust Bowl).
I'll post a link to my iterated list later this weekend (waiting on a few singles to arrive).

NeonEndymion: The only thing I use Alchemist's Refuge to flash in for is Doubling Season at opponent's EOT to ensure that I get to play a walker and ultimate the same turn. Leyline of Anticipation sounds like a good card to test out just for that less mana intensive surprise flash factor. From playtesting, Doubling Season usually doesn't survive an entire round. Looking forward to seeing your list.

Here's my starting point; I figure once this is tuned to be as competitive as it can be, I can de-tune it based on individual playgroups I'm in.
http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/03-05-18-atraxa-and-friends/
I had been considering adding a Tabernacle/Moat/Humility package to help durdle around a bit more, but then Deepglow and Atraxa's abilities are shut down.
Maybe some lower CMC board wipes (Pernicious Deed) over Merciless Eviction might help buy some more time in this build?

NeonEndymion: List looks pretty good. What is your meta generally like? cEDH as in doomsday/blood pod/teferi stax? If so, you probably can cut Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath/Bitterblossom/some boardwipes and add more cards that help you assemble the combo more consistently. Also in a cEDH meta, you only need two boardwipes (toxic deluge and cyclonic rift) as the meta is very combo-centric and creature light and more permissions/cantrips like Brainstorm.
In a 75% meta, I think your current list of boardwipe should be sufficient. Flusterstorm/Daze/Abrupt Decay are more narrow in scope and should be cut as they don't affect the 75% meta as much in my opinion.

Our meta is in a weird space, between Lab Man/Teferi Stax/Blood Pod/Doomsday and 75%, depending on table pairings (and it can't vary within a table pairing, which is . . . awkward). Most 75% decks tend to be creature-heavy, and Markov, Ramp-into-Torment of Hailfire, The Locust God, and mono-white Goodstuff are problem decks.
I think the way to go might be to back this up closer toward where your list is, but find some room for:
-Staff of Domination-Power Artifact-Grim Monolith-Transmute Artifact-Everflowing Chalice
Maybe cutting Fellwar Stone, Gilded Lotus, and the three Signets?
May 3, 2018 4:22 p.m.
NeonEndymion The problem is that without the three signets the speed of the deck will be decreased significantly. I've tried cutting them but ended up putting them back. You can cut the gilded lotus, ob nixilis, kiora, and elspeth for your additions.

May i ask your reasoning for Arcane Denial?
Arent there better counter spells?

Also have you thought about running balance with Teferis Protection? 5 CMC for basically destroy all your opponents lands, creatures and making cards in hands even sounds pretty insane for non super tryhard cEDH :D
May 3, 2018 10:32 p.m.
NeonEndymion says... #22
@HighonBuffs That, my friend, is exactly why Balance is banned in EDH.
May 3, 2018 10:48 p.m.
HighOnBuffs: Arcane denial is my catch all for that extra card draw. Mana drain was in the list but I cut it for tef protection.

@Enral: My friend Ello took a stab at your build that splits a 75% and competitive build, and he (and I) have been pretty happy with it so far:

That's what I really like about the core of your build: You can tune it up/down depending on the power level and play styles of your local meta, and either way it's fun and splashy without being too fast or repetitive.
In terms of my list, aside from the swaps I already posted, I've tried adding in a light counterspell suite to your current list:
+Mana Drain+Force of Will+Pact of Negation+Swan Song+Flusterstorm
+Enlightened Tutor (for combo pieces)
+Bitterblossom
Cutting: Sorin, Grim Nemesis, Nissa, Voice of Zendikar, Kiora, The Crashing Wave, Ajani Unyielding, Ajani Steadfast, Elspeth, Sun's Champion, and Sorin, Solemn Visitor.
For the time being I'll see how Glorious Rebirth works out as a backup plan; as you well know, untapping with Doubling Season rarely happens, so in my meta at least, the backup combos are necessary to close out games.
