Nice yeah makes sense!

Would be cool if you update here with a rundown if you manage to jam some more games with it.

Its still my go-to list for casual/75% pods and i like it a lot!

Btw how has the Seasons Past combo performed for you recently? I feel like it could probably be switched out for some better interaction/other infinite mana combos (Dramatic- Scepter, Grim-Power). Also i really dislike Arcane Denial dont you think another counter would bring more oompf to the table?

Hi there, I really enjoy your decks and appreciate the effort that you put into explaining the cards that you have selected and specifically how the deck works and how the cards interact with each other.

I do have a question regarding your explanation of the Infinite Walker Activations combo with Tezzeret and mana rocks that do not tap for 4. Could you please explain how this works as from your explanation you say you gain 1c every loop, but in attempting to understand this myself I cannot see how this works unless one rock taps for 4.

I should mention that I have only been playing for less than 1 year, so I am by no means an expert, I just want to understand where I am going wrong.

Assuming you have Tezzeret, Chain Veil, Basalt Monolith + any other rock that taps for 3c on the board, the structure would look like this (I think)

tap both rocks to have 6c floating

+1 Tezzeret untapping both rocks

tap both rocks to have 12c floating

-4c for Chain Veil activation leaving 8c floating

+1 Tezzeret untapping Basalt and Chain Veil

tap Basalt for 3c to have 11c floating

-4c for Chain Veil activation leaving 7c floating

+1 Tezzeret untapping Basalt and Chain Veil

tap Basalt for 3c to have 10c floating

-4c for Chain Veil activation leaving 6c floating

+1 Tezzeret untapping Basalt and Chain Veil

And so on until you have nothing left floating, which in total is 10 activations.

This is of course, probably enough to end any game depending on which Planeswalkers you have on the board, but its not generating 1c mana per loop this way like you explained, its actually losing 1c per activation so what have I missed? :(

If there was a way in there to not have to untap Chain Veil but instead untap both rocks, it would be infinite, however then you cannot activate Tezzeret again. I am more than happy to be wrong as I could be missing something, I just want to understand how this goes infinite without a single rock tapping for 4.

Lastly, if you wouldn't mind, if you had to cut your 6 ABUR Dual lands, are there any you would recommend swapping them for?

Once again, great work, I have enjoyed looking at all of your brews and would give them more upvotes if I could.

HighOnBuffs: Seasons Past is a great card by itself especially when several boardwipes are deployed...I've only pulled off the combo once but it is definitely a keeper for now. In a multiplayer game, giving your opponents additional card draw is negligible, Arcane Denial is one of the best counterspells in a multiplayer game IMHO. Regarding game runthrough I'll definitely post some up once I get more games in.

dhopkins: Hey...I think you're actually right. For some reason I must have done the calculation wrong on the combo...I'll correct it thanks. Regarding cutting the ABUR lands you can replace them with fastlands like Seachrome Coast. Hope that helps!

Hi Enral

How do you feel about the newly spoiled card Ever-Watching Threshold

As a card draw against opponents attacking planeswalkers now, sadly not a propaganda for planeswalkers, but still good card draw.

Odysseus_97: Hey sorry for the late reply...was working on a new deck recently. I think Ever-Watching Threshold is a potentially good card to draw us extra gas (which almost always happen). The only downside is that you don't get immediate value off of it when you play it. I'm probably gonna test it out. Thanks for bringing it up!

Divine Visitation strictly isn't good here, but . . . I feel like I want to try it anyway?

Hey man, super cool List, probably one of the most finely tuned superfriends builds i've seen so far. Love the staff-combo!

Do you have a verdict on Settle the Score yet? It felt too clunky in my list, and that is significantly less cutthroat than yours. Would be interested in hearing your opinion.

Any thoughts on Aminatou, the Fateshifter in superfriends? Her flicker is so much better than Venser's. I could see her other two abilities pushing her out of consideration though.

Lastly, isn't Gilded Lotus a bit slow in this list? 5 mana seems like a lot to still be ramping.

MillersEdge: I love Settle the Score, although it's clunky, adding two counters to potentially ultimate a non-threatening walker is too good to pass on. I think Aminatou would be a good walker to test out. Gilded lotus is here as part of the infinite chain veil combo but I might have to rethink my mana rocks and do another massive revamp in the next couple of months. Thanks for your feedback and sorry for the super duper late reply!

Well Enral, can we expect a huge update change for this deck once War of the Spark is fully spoiled? I mean, even the basic lands are a flavour win for this deck.

Some cards that are probably going in already.

  • Ignite the Beacon

4W Instant Search your library for up to two planeswalker cards, reveal them, put them into your hand, then shuffle your library.

  • Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge

4UB Legendary Planeswalker - Tezzeret Creature and planeswalker spells you cast have affinity for artifacts.

[+2]: Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge deals X damage to each opponent, where X is the number of artifacts you control. You gain X life.

[-3]: Return target artifact card from your graveyard to your hand.

[-8]: Exile the top ten cards of your library. Put all artifact cards from among them onto the battlefield.

  • Interplanar Beacon

Land Whenever you cast a planeswalker spell, you gain 1 life.

T: Add 1.

1, T: Add two mana of different colors. Spend this mana only to cast planeswalker spells.

  • Emergence Zone

Land T: Add 1.

1, T, Sacrifice Emergence Zone: You may cast spells this turn as thought they had flash. *New commander staple

Odysseus_97: Definitely. There's going to be some major revamp and update coming up the moment all of the cards for WAR are spoiled.

Please come out of hiding, there are many amazing new walkers, proliferate re-errata, and support cards for aatraxa. Please bestow us with your knowledge senpai!

I have an Atraxa superfriends deck too, and I'm kind of coflicted on whether or not I make the deck 5 colour or not. The new Nicol Bolas looks very fun and powerful to play in a superfriends deck.

The problem for me is this might be a bit overkill going for my third, 5 colour edh deck.

April 1, 2019 12:51 p.m.

Enral says... #15

_Delta_: RIGHT?! The struggle is real. The new Bolas is so good in superfriends but I think I'm just gonna stick to Atraxa till an awesome 5 color superfriends commander is out. The new Bolas will go into my Nicol Bolas discard tribal for now.

What do you think of Divine Visitation its kinda slow but my biggest gripe when playing superfriends is flyers killing my planeswalkers and this turns all our token producers into actual threats with vigilance. On that note, Serra the Benevolent might make it into my build too.

Enral, some thoughts for you after building your deck and tweaking it for my meta/taste. Your Deepglow Staff line can be reduced down to Doubling Season , Tamiyo, the Moon Sage , Ugin, the Spirit Dragon , Teferi, Hero of Dominaria , Jace, Architect of Thought , and 5 cards of your choice to draw with Ugin.

With this you can cast and emblem Teferi infinite times and then once more to draw a card and exile all opponent's permanents. Then if they don't concede you can cast and ultimate Jace infinite times to play everything out of everyone's decks.

It ultimately achieves the same thing but for me I decided to cut Sensei's Divining Top and Basalt Monolith to add some other cards in.

NeonEndymion says... #18

Patryn, wouldn't this line require Tamiyo, Field Researcher's emblem to fire?

April 19, 2019 11:40 a.m.

Patryn says... #19

Yeah you need her, deepglow skate, and Proteus staff to start.

Edskelton says... #20

Due to the interesting new creatures I'm playing with the idea of running some combination of these cards Glittering Wish Living Wish Mastermind's Acquisition to have access to creatures other than Deepglow Skate

Keep in mind that my meta is mostly 70-80% and the fastest deck besides Captain Sissay that I see is Hermit Druid which isn't a fan of my removal. He tends to try to wait for others to bait my exiles before going off

Worst case scenario I take the wishes out because of a lack of good enough creatures to run. Riftsweeper alone is pretty compelling for at least one low cost wish. Though

Thoughts on Heart of Kiran ? It isn't a creature while in deck so it doesn't mess with Proteus Staff, and can provide additional protection early on before you get your combos going.

You have six walkers which can produce tokens. Have you considered City of Shadows ?

Hey there, just scrolling through decks and noticed your code. I like it!

Noticed that your updates well wasn't transparent. If you're using a page that you can edit, add this code to make it transparent:

.panel.panel-default { background-color: #0000ff00; }

If you need any help just post a comment on my profile! I noticed that you're using the TappedProfileCustom default, if you want to learn to change it or you'd like your own just post a comment on my profile!

Interesting changes. In my experience with the new set, Teferi, Time Raveler makes it easy for opponents to combo off since only you can interact with them. Maybe you don't have to deal with infinite combos in your meta?

Have you considered 2 mana land tutors like Farseek , Nature's Lore , Three Visits , etc. instead of some of your artifacts? Tezzeret can untap artifacts which is nice but I prefer the consistency of land ramp.

Why Black Sun's Zenith over something simple like Damnation or Austere Command ? Does the indestructibility come into play? In that case I'd go with Hallowed Burial or Descend upon the Sinful unless you really want that shuffle effect.

Liliana, Dreadhorde General is great and has won me multiple games with her ult.
