1: I think that Martial Glory is way better than Dynacharge because it triggers 2 Heroics AND gives one creature +3/+0 (3 more damage). Of course Dynacharge can be cast for its overload costs but than it triggers NO Heroic and thats bad. I was thinking about Madcap Skills it triggers Heroic ones and its a permanent (every turn three damage more)

2: I tested it with Magma Jet and its great! Sometimes your hand is full of instants and no creatures to trigger, than you don't want to draw another instant, so scry2 is amazing to prevent that and also preventing mana problems!

I like the deck, i was planning on doing something with heroic. When i ran mono red young pyro was one of my main engines along with Krenko's Command 2 mana for 3 1/1 tokens if young pyro is out. But what i would probably test run is 4 Dynacharge Instead of 4 Dauntless Onslaught Because if you are going to spend 3 mana anyways why not it be an overload and give 2/0 to all your creatures instead of just two? Also i think it would trigger all creatures heroic effect would it not? Not sure. But it also gives you the option to just use it for 1 mana and give one person 2/0. You wont get 2/2 but i save it for game finishers. All in all i still like the deck! +1

Dauntless Onslaught and Martial Glory are much better than Dynacharge in this deck, the heroic trigger will make an impact that will last several turns, not just one.. For example, casting Martial Glory on 2 Phalanx Leader will give all your creatures 2 +1/+1 counters.. which is awesome.

herossurrender: Dynacharge doesn't target creatures when it's overloaded because overload replaces all instances of "target" with "each", however it does activate when it's cast normally.

What about something like Racecourse Fury ? Haste and target all the heroics each turn. How would one go about searching for other similarly texted cards?

I don't think that Racecourse Fury triggers heroic because it gives the land the ability, and so it is not the enchantment that is targeting it.

colonelboy It doesnt trigger the Heroic ability, because it is an ability, and abilities dont cast. The only things you can cast in MTG are spells, not abilities, unless the abilitie specifies it (for example Flashback)

You should consider Akroan Hoplite for sideboard. It might be useful in some scenarios, where your opponent doesn't have many removal spells. It could also work in the Main Board, but it is a risky card...

Take into account that whenever this creature attacks, it will always get a +1, as it takes into account his attack

I love the deck idea. I will definitely be using this idea to build a new standard deck. I ran boros before rotation and loved it. This will give me the chance to keep some of my older cards and return to R/W. +1 for sure!

maybe replace 2 of the the Anax and Cymede with Boros Reckoner

steppo I have Boros Reckoner in the sideboard against aggro matchups. Anax and Cymede is the core of this deck, and even though it is legendary, I still want four.

Have you considered Hammer of Purphoros ? I also think that Legion Loyalist may be really useful. Eitherway this deck is the best postrotation deck i've seen so far.

Yeah i guess Dynacharge wont be that useful, still i just cant get used to the 4 Dauntless Onslaught It does seem good though. I might just mix up the instants. Not 100% sure with what. Maybe 4 Titan's Strength Its 3/1 for 1 mana and you get to scry and plan your next turn, and triggers heroic effects.Like cast Titan's on a Phalanx Leader Give him 3/1 give all creatures 1/1 assuming you have some random 1/1 on the field swing for 7 turn 3. And now they are 2/2. (and scry)I'm loving all the possibilities.

Firstable, very good deck. I was questionning myself about a heroism deck, and this one is pretty strong.I agree with you, Anax and Cymede is too important to put only 3 of them. Even though it is legendary. It's a bit complicated to get some free spot but I'll probably remove 2 Chained to the Rocks , and 2 Boros Charm to put 4 Magma Jet .

gpappami: I already have Boros Charm against board wipe, and I find it more useful.

Everyone: it seems that the consensus on Dynacharge is that it should come out. If you still think that it has it's place, or you think that the changes I made for Magma Jet are bad, I'd love to hear it

I assume know Fabled Hero because Anax and Cymede has the 3-drop spot. I agree that Boros Charm is more than enough for board wipes.

This has made me start pining for the next set to see if there are other potential pieces to squeeze in here.

have you considered Soldier of the Pantheon , and replacing Favored Hoplite , i mean Soldier of the Pantheon is way more aggressive and it hates on greedy 3 colour decks
