I've always wanted to make a thallid deck, and Commander gives me the best outlet for it. Basis of the deck is building up your army of saprolings. The inclusion of Doubling Season, Anointed Procession, and Parallel Lives ramps up your token production. This deck is slow at first, but can really start to snowball later.

There is an infinite combo with Ghave, Guru of Spores + Doubling Season + Ashnod's Altar. Use 1 mana to remove a +1/+1 counter and make 2 Saprolings with Ghave, Guru of Spores, sac 1 for 2 mana with Ashnod's Altar, use 1 mana to sac a Saproling and put 2 +1/+1 counters on Ghave, Guru of Spores and the other mana to remove a counter and make 2 more Saprolings. Repeat for infinite +1/+1 counters on Ghave, Guru of Spores. Then to get infinite Saprolings just use your infinite counters to make infinite Saprolings. Since you have infinite Saprolings, you also have infinite mana, and infinite possibilities.

Another infinite combo involves enchanting Midnight Guard with Presence of Gond and tapping for infinite tokens.

Mycoloth is a major player in this deck, and ends up either winning you the game or becoming the target of all the hate. Just devouring 4 tokens gives it 8 +1/+1 counters, giving you 8 saprolings on your next turn.

Another card of note is Catacomb Sifter. Since you can sac a saproling every turn, you can scry every turn.
