Due to AlphaAuthority's suggestion I made the deck a lot more aggro oriented. Cut Hero of Bladehold for ajani gold mane and side boarded Auriok Champion.

I thought so! Glad you like it :-)
I'm sure we're gonna see it played A LOT from now on, in standard it will be such a strong card.

It's wonderful. I can double my tokens and bypass summoning sickness to boot. Such a wonderful card. And I'm curious as to what impact it will have. I know next to nothing about the standard meta, so I can't really offer any professional insight, but it seems like it would interact really well with the heroic ability.

Now you just need a cheap mofo with Battlecry to boost everything haha :o)
Well, it is an amazing card, that's for sure. And I might buy it myself, it has so many uses, etc Heroic as you mentioned.

Well, I can tell you this, this is what White Weenie was missing, it really never got to hit the top 8, but with this card, ouch. Game winner right there. And I guess this is why, they made such a powerful lowcost white card like this.

Loving the way your going with this... Just wanted to pass this by you. Just found this b/w token build on a forum and seems pretty amazing, definitely in a different direction.. What are you thoughts on this build?
4 Plains
2 Swamp
Sideboard
1 Rule of Law 2 ethersworn canonist 3 Liliana of the Veil 3 Rest in Peace 3 Stony Silence 3 Burrenton Forge-Tender

That is a really good B/W tokens, holy fuck. That mainboard EE doesn't make much sense to me though.

well fuck me, it didn't register my comment. Oh well, I'll re-post it lol.
Why oh why didn't I think about Hour of Reckoning , it's perfect for a Windbrisk Heights fetch!
This deck, isn't really to be compared to xzzane's though. As it's much more late game, beyond midrange, than his. Xzzane's deck is much more aggro/midrange then that one is.
Tiktacy, his meta may be filled with evil ramp and/or aura/artifacts, then Engineered Explosives is a good mainboard pick. As is much more aggressive late game, than Ratchet Bomb , where rachet is for early game, and only really good against tokens, and slow ramp. And seeing as this posted deck is a control late midrange deck, it's a good pick.

Harperod, that deck is a lot more late game oriented, as opposed to my much more aggro/midrange styled deck, much like AlphaAuthority has stated. Hmm...Hour of Reckoning ...I had it back in my mono white version of this and it served me well, but I don't know if it has quite the place. It would be great to windbrisk into, but on the other hand it could be an empty draw in a lot of cases; I wouldn't be able to use it for a few turns at the least. Typically I I can deal with most threats with spot removal through Path to Exile or I can Zealous Persecution a bunch of Birds of Paradise s. Or those damn elementals of yours Alpha. Coincidentally, that was one of the cards I had hidden away by windbrisk the other day. Which you destroyed.

Hour of Reckoning is an amazing card, even without Windbrisk, you'll be able to play this in T5+. And we all know, that Modern is built to win in T4, if your opponent nothing useful draws. But that never really happen, so a normal Modern format game is generally 8 turns long, give or take a few. Which means that a card like Hour of Reckoning , would in 90% of all the times it was played mean a win.
If you consider it, I'd suggest taking out 1x Raise the Alarm and 1x Batwing Brume in sideboard for it.
It's all about piloting the deck, cards don't mean shit, if you just drop them down whenever you can :-)
May 6, 2014 3:54 p.m.
All of that is certainly true, but I think I like the deck as it is. I think I'll abstain from Hour of Reckoning , at least for now.

Not saying you should go in this direction, like I said I really like the aggro build you have. It's just cool to see b/w tokens to go in a control/midrange direction... And wanting to see which style of bw tokens will be more successful. I see both versions a step in the right direction... But Obviously it depends on the meta... Why no inclusion of Brimaz, King of Oreskos ?

He has way to many 3 drops already mate, and hero is a better match for this build. I would rather play a Lingering souls than Brimaz of I had the choice in T3. It all ofc depends on the situation :-)

Harperod, in all honesty my version would probably be more competitive. I run more control, and is more fitted to take on other tier decks. His deck appears to be modified to suit his local meta. And brimaz doesn't quite have the place that people thought it would. The way the deck curves out, brimaz just isn't as good as other possible choices.

Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Archangel of Thune are suite for U/W Control decks, when they need a little more firepower. Brimaz is also a good choice for white weenie, in some metas.

To be honest, I've been thinking.. A lot. I feel like you could take this to the next level. I have been playtesting your 'new deck' the past few days. I'm almost certain, that you could bring this baby down a turn in average.
atm, you waste 1 card position on 5 enchantments, instead of only a playset, which is normal. So say that you only needed 4. Then we have one open slot. Hero of Bladehold is actually a bit slow, and Hero of Bladehold is really sideboard material. I know you need the lifegain, but I would any day rather play Ajani Goldmane (he is a beast when it comes to tokens, I didn't even think about him!!).
Honor of the Pure is really not what you want, you want a full playset of Intangible Virtue .
one less Fetid Heath and bring back Vault of the Archangel - you know it, this card is a winner. It really is.
Fill in the last spots 2x more Zealous Persecution , and one Brimaz, King of Oreskos (I must admit he is a powerhouse).

AlphaAuthority, I respect your opinions on deckbuilding greatly, but I don't think I will end up changing anything. 5 enchantments is actually just as common, if not slightly more, than 4. And Honor of the Pure is very useful in helping my non tokens. Vigilance is amazing, but after a single Intangible Virtue , Honor of the Pure is always a better draw. I won't deny that Hero is slow, but he has won me many games. With the hand disruption I have, the game usually lasts at least 6-7 turns. I have been considering bringing back Vault of the Archangel though. Out of curiosity though, how has this been performing in your playtests?

AlphaAuthority, I've only playtested this new version a few times and I'm already in love with Launch the Fleet .
