Sorry Sorin —Aug. 31, 2014
Ended up taking out Sorin, Lord of Innistrad for a second Elspeth, Knight-Errant. While I liked the variety, Elspeth is the superior choice, and I would rather run into her. Also comments got way too long again.

Also, how are your match-ups going against Red Deck Wins? Even with your sideboard, are you favorable against RDW? (Not that you need to be against every deck).
July 28, 2014 11:52 a.m.
I usually do very well against RDW. Burn gives me a little more trouble but I win the majority of my matches. And I commented on your deck regarding gps. When I get the chance to attend one I will post my results in the description. But my meta, being so insanely competitive, gives me a good outlook on how my deck performs against a wide variety of tier one/two decks.

To all viewers, this is not an original deck. Its a 99% copy of others. Since no credit is being given to the others who came before xzzane, I'll give it here. Go ahead and rate what you like, and admire its qualities, but don't think for one minute that this guy created BW Tokens, much less this very similar copy of it. Xzzane, you know its true. Give props where they are deserved.

Ok, so some back story to the asshole above me. We had an argument over which build for b/w tokens is better-control or aggro. It escalated and he has blatantly accused me of copying my deck off of people. This is not true.
July 28, 2014 4:25 p.m.
@spinoza1791, So I've been looking at xzzane's comments, and you seem to know what your talking about. If there is an inverse relationship to the size of your penis and your knowledge of the archetype in question, that is. I was with xzzane's deck from the beginning. I saw him when he was mono white. I saw his hesitance to get into black. Finally, I saw him accept the color into his deck and ROCK with it. And for you to sit there and demean all his hard work is just pathetic. I don't know if I should be angry with you or just feel sad for you. Honestly. Get. A. Life.

Reporting you to the site authority for obscene harassment.
July 28, 2014 4:41 p.m.
If you can't tell by the description I'm just really rankled by this. AlphaAuthority, you've been with me for a while. I was recently accused of essentially netdecking my token deck. You've been with my deck and seen it grow and change as time progressed. Can you back me up on this?

If this isn't a copy, please show me how it significantly differs? This should be an easy matter to settle using reason, instead of obscenities (via your friends). I'm challenging you (and your posse) to defend the claim that this is an original concept version. Defend it with examples or concede and give credit to the originator/s. I would hope you would want to be a fair and honest person. Earn your integrity. Will you rise to the challenge?
July 28, 2014 7:18 p.m.
Here's my challenge to you. Two people create the chair. Neither have any influence on each other. Is the person who made it second copying the first? I did not copy off of people. I learned what was best much like they did I would imagine. I don't need to prove myself to you. There are those on the site that have seen this deck grow and change, even helping and suggesting things to me on occasion. I am also blocking you due to Ohthenoises suggestion. I will copy this onto your wall before blocking you.
July 28, 2014 7:25 p.m.
Dear spinoza1791, do you not see the file mile long page of comments xzzane has constantly had to compress in his updates? This has been not only his work of labor, but the community's as well. Your ignorance and arrogance insults them all. You want proof, you blind, arrogant person? Look at that first before committing libel. Xzzane does not need to earn integrity- YOU, my poor, misguided friend, however, DO.

Lol, mate, the score on this deck speaks for it self. This deck is nothing like what it was for like almost half a year ago, sorfor someone to carelessly making up lies is just stupid. I've seen this deck grow, I've seen it change. You are the Guru when it comes to B/W Token decks, (ofc I'm just behind you on that!). Stop caring about what someone else is trying to troll you with, he apparently is just jealous of what you (WE) have a archived here. I'll back you up any day! :-) And if there's more questions about weather this is a netdeck, get a admin to confirm the update list :-)

The problem here is this: it LOOKS like a net deck because it's so refined so if someone sees it they will automatically assume. Just like if someone looked at some of my decks they would scream net deck.
That doesn't mean that it IS a net deck. I also remember the changelog and can confirm that it's not.
July 28, 2014 7:38 p.m.
Can people really call net decking anymore with the internet and sights like tappedout around? I mean look at just how many people post decks on this sight alone. Someone is bound to have a very similar deck to yours or it would look like a "copy". Also did they forget that the modern event deck that came out not too long ago was a B/W token deck? Anyway I look at people that call out people for net decking as the same as the old man sitting at his rocking chair yelling at kids to get off his yard. Also people will say anything to get a rise out of you, best not to take it and heart and just dismiss them and ignorant.

raven1man the term "net deck" has to evolve with the technology.
To me, net decking is where you take a decklist from the net, be it tappedout, or mtgtop8, or some other outlet and make 0 changes. Then you run that deck and call it yours without crafting the deck, finding out what works, cutting the wheat from the chaff, and trying again. Here is a visual example.
The best way to spot a net decker is play errors. 9 times out of 10 a net decker will have little to no experience with the deck as a whole and will make more errors than someone who created the deck in the first place.
The biggest thing here is: someone can craft a deck, looking at no decklists, and have that deck turn out to look JUST like a popular deck because what works is usually found out by many people.
July 28, 2014 9:03 p.m.
Yeah, it's best if you don't let them get to you. This happens to be my pride and joy though, and I've put a lot of time and thought into it. So it just really got to me when he accused me of copying someone's deck.

Hmm, just read this. This is obviously not an original deck (+1 to spinoza). So, why the hate? Its hilarious that you guys won't answer his question! That just proves him right...
July 28, 2014 11:31 p.m.
Spinoza1791...wizard1791...those names sound awfully close. And hey, you created an account an hour ago! Right after I blocked Spinoza. Nah, must be a coincidence. Did you really think I wouldn't notice? You have shown all the mental faculties of a rat in a burning meth lab here. I mean come on.

Wondering why it matters even if you did rip off any part of this deck. Heck, i'm blatantly copying this list with zero shame. It's a good deck.
Not to say that you took this idea from anyone, of course, it's a popular archetype that only has so many "correct" cards, and you just happen to have found all of them. That doesn't mean that all the work you put in to find them was invalid, it was actually totally necessary, and you've become an indispensable resource to the community because of it. So what if Craig Wescoe also knows which cards make a good BW Tokens deck? Maybe he's ripping you off!
Regardless of what some piss-ant credit-monger says, This deck is a strong, independent black (and white) deck, and it don't need no man!
Also, people who make second accounts to continue flaming someone deserve to have their internet access revoked.
July 29, 2014 1:40 a.m.
Hi! Me again, have you tried using Mark of Asylum as a sideboard against burn decks? Or have you ever had problems with burn decks?
July 29, 2014 2:09 a.m.
Just for reference because I follow modern quite a lot:
Spinoza is wrong about having 6 anthems in the deck. Most pro decks run 4 to 5. 5 is about the upper limit. You're completely correct, you don't need more HOTP.
Regarding netdecking: I highly doubt this deck is, due to the fact that Sorin is a somewhat peculiar choice, and having 4 Raise the Alarm , Lingering Souls AND Spectral Procession is a bit peculiar. Most opt for 2 out of those 3.

Creating an extra account to back up your own opinion on the internet sounds like a horrible idea,

Please post any PTQ or Grand Prix placingsrankings you personally had with this particular version of BW tokens. Its hard to get a sense of its general success from local tournaments only.
