dsagent, I am aware of this, but it is simply an inherent flaw in the deck. I need the flexibility of dual lands, so I just have to pay the price unfortunately. Thanks for the +1! And TrumpetsforKings, that's a really, really good card in a deck like this, and I toyed with it for a really long time, but I finally decided to cut it so I could afford to have more control.

Maybe Sorin, Lord of Innistrad ? You get more tokenss out of him and his other two effects can be very helpful as well.

Void95, Sorin is great, and I do really like him, but for the coveted 4 mana spot position in this deck, Hero of Bladehold just takes the cake.

Good point. I'd forgotten her effect. I retract my suggestion

With your mana curve, I think you could safely run 20 land. Zealous persecution in a toekn deck is a game changer.

I don't know...I tend to try to to go the safe route when it comes to land. I'd have to playtest it a lot to see how it goes. For the moment I think I'll stick with 22 lands.

have you considered Path of Bravery ? with all the tokens you'd gain a hell of a lot of life.
November 10, 2013 8:59 p.m.
I have considered it, I just don't know what I would take out. Everything works rather well at the moment. Any suggestions?

wwhitegoldd I disagree about taking out Honor of the Pure . The majority of his tokens are white so Honor of the Pure gives him a permanent +1+1 no matter his life total. I love Path of Bravery and I would suggest it but not at the expense of Honor of the Pure . Not in this deck at least.
xzzane, what about taking out some Path to Exile 's and replacing them with Path of Bravery and/or Zealous Persecution ? I can't see how they benefit your deck so much. Yes it exiles a target creature but at the expense of giving them another land. There are pros and cons to that and I think if you replace say, two of them it won't harm your deck and will give you room for other good cards.
Also, I worked on my Swarm and Multiply deck and was wondering if you could take a look at it and give some suggestions. Thanks

wwhitegoldd there is zero chance of me taking out Honor of the Pure . Frankly, it's even more valuable than Intangible Virtue because it powers up Auriok Champion and Tidehollow Sculler as well. And Void95, Path to Exile is the ultimate removal spell. I need a 4 set of it to take out the nasty threats that an opponent could throw at me at any second. To be honest, while Path of Bravery is good, I just don't think it belongs here. The one thing I would consider is Zealous Persecution because it's perfect in here. I'm just not sure on what I would take out. And I'll take a look.

How about Fiendslayer Paladin ? Also, I gave a +1 to all of your decks a whole back but I forgot to tell you
November 14, 2013 5:39 a.m.
Fiendslayer Paladin just doesn't have a place here unfortunately. And thanks, appreciate it!

wwhitegoldd, I actually had Windbrisk Heights in here earlier, but after extensive duels, I just found that the coming into play tapped was too detremental for the gain that it gave. The only way it was worth it is if I pulled out a Hero of Bladehold , otherwise it could almost be a wasted turn.
November 15, 2013 2:58 p.m.
Since you only have 2 cards that have 4 or higher CMC (Hero of Bladehold ) I say it wouldn't hurt the deck to have maybe 1 or 2 less land.
November 15, 2013 7:10 p.m.
Hmm, I may do that then. I'll give it a days consideration though.

You don't have any responses to topdecked sweepers. You have sideboard options that will stop Ratchet Bomb and Engineered Explosives , but you're reliant on sorcery speed discard to catch something like Supreme Verdict in your opponent's hand.
Rootborn Defenses can stop all of the above.

x754, that is true, but I don't know what I would take out. Plus it's pretty rare that I have the 3 mana open to play that. And Elspeth, Sun's Champion costs far too much to have a place here unfortunately.

Comment section to long to read all the way through. So if I repeat anything, just ignore it :-)
Why not Lingering Souls ?
I like the deck idea, so a +1 from me right there. One thing I thought about, life gain decks must be a real challenge ? So would fast aggro decks like; knights, merfolk, zombie, Goblin. But that's my thoughts. I'll go play test it against my Angelic Wrath and Mermaids. See how it goes.
I'll let you know how it goes.

Ok. My bad about the Lingering Souls . Totally missed it.
Well, to be kind, your deck got kinda wreck'd against my Angelic Wrath.
I don't know how to play your deck ofc, and some cards in your sideboard was very much indeed needed, IF you should have even a slim chance of winning. My Ghostly Prison , Kira, Great Glass-Spinner and Iona, Shield of Emeria cripple your game. Even though Thoughtseize got rid of one Kira, Great Glass-Spinner and your Tidehollow Sculler got one more and a Iona, Shield of Emeria . It took me 20 turns to beat your deck, as I needed my Avacyn, Angel of Hope .
I still really like your deck, and I would say that 20 turns gives it all the chances in the world to show it's worth. I'll test it again against my Angel deck, and then two times against my Merfolk.
