It's been suggested to me already, but thanks. I prefer what I have already. I like my deck to be as fast as possible, and some other cards are better for that than Mikaeus, the Lunarch

Why not use Charge Across the Araba ?

Definitely Sublime Archangel . Imagine this: You have a swarm of tokens, but they aren't going to hit for enough for either A) the win, or B) to get past a big ugly on the opponent's field. Drop a Sublime Archangel , and suddenly you become a whole lot more threatening.

Probably would drop 1x Angel of Jubilation and maybe 1 enchantment. You won't regret it.

Hmm...Lordlordington, Charge Across the Araba could either be really good or really bad. If the opponent has a Safe Passage or something of that nature, I would be out of the duel. So I'll stick with what I have. I will sideboard it though. And freelancre, I think I will do that actually. I think I'll get rid of one Angel of Jubilation and one Hero of Bladehold for two Sublime Archangel s.

Dirt3pz, while I am a fan of Lingering Souls , I'm not going to splash black into the deck just to get it in. And I'm somewhat working on a budget as well. Plus I find Shrine of Loyal Legions to be extremely useful. It builds up power very quickly until I pay 3 mana to get out all of the tokens.

Why would you not splash black just to add Lingering Souls ?

Run 4x Marsh Flats and 2x Arid Mesa with 2x Godless Shrine ...

It would practically not hurt mana base at all, and would make the deck better. I would second the Elspeth, Knight-Errant ... It is amazingly good.

Also, I would run Entreat the Angels as a 1 or 2 of. It might slingshot you over the top in the longer games.

fireteam, you're right, I think I will do that on second thought. I will not add Elspeth, Knight-Errant because I know my deck would be better without it. you'll have to trust me on htat, I tried both Elspeth Tirel and Elspeth, Knight-Errant out before and I ended up not making much use of them.

I've given up on this being a semi-budget deck. And Entreat the Angels is good, but not really my style. Thanks though.

I must seem like I'm mad for changing my mind so much, but after playtesting my deck a few times, I'm finding I have to pay 3 life just to make use of Godless Shrine , and sometimes I don't even get Lingering Souls . I'm changing it back to how it was before. Thank you for your suggestion though.

Odric, Master Tactician would work pretty well in here if you didn't draw Sublime Archangel .

idespisestandard, I like Odric, Master Tactician a lot. I originally had him in my deck, but I found I wouldn't use him much. Hmm...I might like having him even more than Sublime Archangel actually. He compliments my deck more I think than Sublime Archangel . Thanks. Oh, and I hate standard too by the way lol.

how does ((Darian, King of Kjeldor)), Akromas memorial, and Elesh Norn sound to you?

December 12, 2012 8:42 p.m.

xzzane says... #17

Darien, King of Kjeldor is of no use. The 6 mana cost makes it so that by the time I get him out, the game is over. Same goes for card:Akroma's Memorial and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite .

December 12, 2012 9:47 p.m.

Crusade is a weaker version of Honor of the Pure , as it bolsters ALL white creatures, so against a white deck, you've given away your advantage. Darien is a good last minute thing to say hey attack and I get creatures. Also, if you don't like Darien, use Precinct Captain .

December 17, 2012 8:16 p.m.

xzzane says... #19

Well I don't HAVE Crusade , so...I'm not exactly sure where you're getting that from. And Darien, King of Kjeldor is practically useless in this deck, as I have explained in an earlier post. As for Precinct Captain is ok, but I much prefer Raise the Alarm for it's immediate use. Plus, he would be very easy to kill.

December 17, 2012 9:16 p.m.

Sorry Crusade was in response to an earlier post. Precinct Captain would serve to create easy tokens, and with first strike, he is a early game creature creator that can hold off and bolster armies for Odric. Turn 4 thats the required amount to attack with Odric's ability. Another possibility is Captain of the Watch . boosts most your tokens, gives them vigilance, and creates three tokens to boot. It's helpful that most of your tokens are soldiers from Hero of Bladehold and Raise the Alarm

I originally had Captain of the Watch , but if you read my earlier posts, I did everything I could to make this deck as fast as possible. My duels never last long enough to use anything with more than 4 mana effectively. Precinct Captain just wouldn't fit in as well as you think it would. I have playtested this deck well over 250 times by now (It's my favorite deck, what can I say), and I've learned a lot about what would work and what doesn't work.

Ok cool dude. Sorry for getting confused. My deck runs along the same lines, but just puts people off until i get out my creature boosters. YOu might wanna put a card:Nomads' Assembly in becasue although the decently high cost, it doubles the amount of creature by creating tokens, so you get a huge army and all tokens.

You should check it out Unlocking the Garrison

Sorry, didn't mean to come off as antagonistic. And same for card:Nomads' Assembly. I used to have that in here too, but I rarely used it. It was a sad parting though, because I miss having that massive army...I still keep card:Conqueror's Pledge and card:Nomads' Assembly in mind if I do a multi way duel though. And I'll check it out.
