Swarm of the Undercity is a multiplayer, none infinite, grave recursion deck with it's base in Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Cauldron of Souls. These three recursion cards togheter with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord + Lord of the Void or Gray Merchant of Asphodel/ Kokusho, the Evening Star (as well as a sack outlet) is the two main ways to win with this deck. Then there is the more golgari way to win, a Swarm of fatties born out of Gutter Grime.

A very real danger to SotU is grave hate with cards such as Grafdigger's Cage, Ground Seal, Rest in Peace, Leyline of the Void.Because of this I've invested quiet heavily in artifact and enchantment removal seven slots are dedicated to this, ranging from Caustic Caterpillar to Wave of Vitriol in power level.

Caustic Caterpillar and Viridian Zealot also works great with Meren of Clan Nel Toths ability.

Another problem is exile effects, to protect the creatures from that one needs to seend them to the graveyard with cards such as Phyrexian Altar, Viscera Seer and Dimir House Guard.
