We're also not looking at things like board wipes, counter spells, etc. Imagine getting Pacifism on your Lorthos .___. There is quite a few scenarios you could use it on your own creatures. Also, bounce back a creature they have and it's one more permanent that you can tap and not worry about.
Can it block multiple creatures swinging for big damage? No so I need more creatures

So, without realizing it, I kind of adapted what you have here for my Drowning in the Sea Since you've helped me out in the past, I was wondering if you could take a look at it and see what you think?

Haha so I inspired a deck in you? That's cool :) I'll check it out later though.

Twincast really gets along well with Harrow .
Don't forget Somberwald Sage .
Levitation seems like a dead slot that could be better filled with ramp. You don't really need it, since the Stormtide can just whack them to death anyways when it's out.
I would also put Cultivate , Explore , and Primeval Titan up to 4 copies each. Toss in one or two more lands as well. The Levitation s and Omniscience s are mostly unneeded anyways.
This almost looks like a card:Quest for Ula's Temple deck.

I might replace Cultivate with Harrow , but as for the Sage, no thanks.
That is true, but I get worried about them still having flying creatures. If they are swinging with buffed up flyers, then I'm dead if I can't block or swing for more damage. Might think about replacing it though.
I really don't want 4 copies of Primeval Titan in the deck. I feel that two is enough. Omniscience is AMAZING with Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur . As for lands, I think 24 is plenty, otherwise I'll get mana flooded.
The deck was inspired by Kiora's deck from the Magic 2012 game.

Play the Urza-Tron Lands dude.
As consistent as this deck is in Duels 2012, it doesn't shape up as such in the real world.
Honestly, just the Urza-Tron lands, a bunch of draw spells/artifacts that you sac for a card and a mana of any colour (gives you the colours you need) and tutors like Expedition Map and Sylvan Scrying to find the lands. Get those lands into play, generate some coloured mana and put some silly expensive stuff into play early.

UmbrotheUmbreon says... #8
First off, I don't know what the Urza-Tron lands are. Secondly, I can have 16 forests in my mana pool by turn 5. With the Leviathan, Lorthos, and the Eldrazis, there is enough powerhouse in the deck to win.
I am not really ijto artifacts, and have had very little trouble with the deck so far. I might add Misty Rainforest into the deck just to fix the mana base a bit more. If I do I'll be replacing Explore with Farseek

Urza's Mine, Urza's Tower and Urza's Power Plant.
For some reason they are not in the database on here; but if you control all three, Mine and Plant tap for two colourless each and the Tower taps for three. So all together they will tap for seven, and even more if you have multiple copies!
The artifacts I'm talking about are ones like Chromatic Star and Chromatic Sphere for example. They draw you into your Urza lands and or big threats and help give you the coloured mana needed to cast them.
Ramp works to, but that is another or additional way to go about it. :)

UmbrotheUmbreon says... #10
Oh, those lands. Yeah I know about them. They are good, but better suited for artifact decks.
Yeah, this is meant to be ramp, and the Urza-Tron lands seem better in artifact ramp. I appreciate the suggestions though :)

Tron is actually proven to be excellent even in largely colored-mana builds, but of course is better suited for artifacts.

So, having played against this I'd suggest some creature bounce like Vapor Snag or some other form of early blocker Fog Bank synergizes well with Overgrown Battlement for example. Otherwise affinity will eat you alive.

Affinity DID eat me alive D:
I want to add Fog Bank , but what should I remove?
October 22, 2012 6:44 p.m.
UmbrotheUmbreon says... #14
I think dropping the Titan and Stormtide for 3 Fog Bank s is good. Neither of those two do much for me, except Primeval Titan , who on a rare occasion netted me some lands.

Ohthenoises says... #15
Well Fog Bank can act as a mana source if Overgrown Battlement is out. Also, short of me burning it it won't die to any of my creatures with Cranial Plating .
Have you ever considered the Cloudpost and Glimmerpost lands? Provides a ton of ramp and a ton of life which can keep you in the game for quite a while.

I'm not really a big fan of using the nonbasic lands in this deck, mainly cause Harrow only allows for basic lands.
Also, life shouldn't be an issue with the deck if it ramps properly. I"ve gone down to 3 life before with this deck and all it took was casting Emrakul to turn it around for a win.
October 22, 2012 8:12 p.m.
As I'm looking through this deck, I started to shake my head. Once I got to Omniscience , automatically went back up, and +1. This deck is insane.

It's even more insane when you combo Emrakul, the Aeons Torn with Omniscience and Devastation Tide , giving you more turns :D

This deck is so awesome I'm going to use it for my QUEST MAGIC character :DAll the ramp makes for a early Omniscience , after which you drop your hand onto the field. Total epicness. A complete deck that ramps up to 10 mana by turn 5. Just... awesome.
QUEST MAGIC is a TappedOut-based RPG game that a guy created utilizing the TappedOut deck creator and playtester to make an entire game, through navigating pages and clicking links alone. It's really cool, check it out! (It's also free, btw)
Link to the "Main Menu" for the game, along with rules, is right here: QUEST MAGIC: The Mtg RPG!

Thank you :)
This deck was inspired by Kiora's from Magic 2012. Yeah I know what it is. I was gonna do it but way too complicated for me XD I don't mind if you use it so long as you credit it as my deck you're using.
Also, a bit of advice. Harrow + Twincast = 4 lands in exchange for 1, so utilize that well. Also, once Gatecrash comes out Enter the Infinite will be in here, so that'll be even more fun :D Finally, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur is extremely useful for drawing into the Omniscience should it not appear early enough. If you get feared of being milled just discard an Eldrazi so you can reshuffle everything back in. Use Ulamog to destroy Jin or bounce him with Devastation Tide
Finally, +1's are appreciated :)

Yeah, I know Kiora's deck, it's my fav deck in 2012. Thanks for the advice! I didn't actually get to use Twincast yet, but it's a really cool card and since you don't have to pay casting costs like you stated above, works quite well! It's also a blue Reverberate , which is awesome. Haven't seen any mill enemies yet, but will sure do what you said there.
December 16, 2012 12:44 p.m.
UmbrotheUmbreon says... #22
The reason I say that is cause with Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur if you let him stay out he'll eventaully make you mill yourself if you don't discard one of the Eldrazi.
December 16, 2012 1:38 p.m.
thegamemaster1234 says... #23
Yeah, good point. However, if you have Jin, you then draw into Omniscience and Eldrazi, which leads to win anyway - but if the game goes on long enough, then yes, discarding one may help with the self-mill part, along with getting him back.

Also note when Enter the Infinite DOES get put in the deck, MAKE SURE YOU RETURN JIN BEFORE ENDING THE TURN

Axebane Guardian . With Overgrown Battlement the mana you produce is pretty rad. Consider it against Coiling Oracle though I still really like that snakey guy.
Epochalyptik says... #1
Overgrown Battlement blocks a 3/3 quite effectively. I just feel that by the time you can cast AEther Mutation on a creature you control that's big enough to make it worthwhile, then you've probably won.
