It sucks too, cause I pulled a Notion Thief but traded it off. What would you suggest I remove for it?

Please don't run Notion Thief . Typically if you are running U you are running Consecrated Sphinx . If someone has one and plays it and you play Notion Thief they can force you to draw out at instant speed.

But what about decks that don't run it? Also I could just kill Notion Thief in response after I've drawn enough cards. After all, I CAN respond to the trigger, and it'd give me a ton of cards to kill them with, so wouldn't that be a GOOD thing?

It requires a sac outlet to be out. That can be VERY risky. It's like casting Slaughter Pact on turn 2 with a Dark Ritual and no cards in hand. It is a very risky move.

Risky but well worth the reward no? What's the fun in a game without a little risk right?

You could probably afford to ditch Inexorable Tide or Tunnel Vision . Tide because you're really only going to be proliferating planeswalkers and the counters from Black Sun's Zenith . Vision because you don't know what you;re opponent will have on the bottom of their library, and you don't have Laboratory Maniac for a win con if you use it on yourself.

I can ditch the Tide, was looking for a replacement for that anyway. I used it with Coalition Relic to get more mana, but if I drew a dead card then it was pointless.

Tunnel Vision works wonders with Spell Crumple and Hinder , not to mention it can act as a tutor of sorts. I actually beat someone with a Tunnel Vision followed by Psychic Spiral combo :D

It's about being psychotic and crazy. Paranoia. I actually think the song is about a paranoid schizophrenic. Either way it kicks ass and is all about mental health, which Dimir is good at creating disorders

I respect your reasoning, i personally prefer lazav as a mill commander, for tool kit reasons. with the correct form he can kill by commander damage in one or two shots. +1. check out Jace's Vengeance by Immortalized for my commander mill deck
