Switch out 2 Badgers for your Wild Defiance

I just made a deck like this Gruulz Lulz (Turn 1 kill capable) where it's just a bunch of burst. I'd suggest Simian Spirit Guide and Brute Force for additional burst.

I like the looks of this deck... As far as suggestions go, though... Maybe Grove of the Burnwillows? In tandem with Kavu Predator, it might be interesting.

I feel like Simian Spirit Guide is clunky in this deck. Also, Brute Force is worse than Titan's Strength in here. Grove of the Burnwillows is way too expensive for me, and without Kavu Predator it's terrible because this deck hates lifegain.

Kavu Predator isn't great mainboard unless you have a way to make your opponent gain life like Grove of the Burnwillows. 2x more Goblin Guide and 1x more Ghor-Clan Rampager would be much better.

I agree with Saljen but let me just say hell yeah your running Charging Badger!

Honestly, the point of this deck isn't to exploit Kavu Predator. He's there as an at the curve trampler, who also has an ability that combats one of this deck's weaknesses: life gain. Grove of the Burnwillows has two major drawbacks for me. First it's way too expensive for me. Second, if I'm using Grove, and Kavu bites a Path to Exile, I'm outta luck because then I have to sustain aggro longer due to a higher life total, and in late game, when decks are going to have answers to things like a Monastery Swiftspear that they don't one turn one or two. As for the suggested replacements, I don't have the budget for another two Goblin Guides either. I am thinking though about trying something like -1 Vexing Devil -1 Kavu Predator for +2 Kiln Fiend.

If you add in the Kiln Fiend I would definitly consider Nivmagus Elemental because you can exile the spell in response to the cast (still triggers prowess and kiln) and have 3 creatures that simply will be getting bigger and more threating

Become Immense could be pretty good, maybe add a couple more fetches to help it along. Nice deck though!

Why the Giant Growth and not Titanic GrowthI would cut Kavu Predator all together and put in 2 more Goblin Guides and another Lava Spike. I might also cut Giant Growth and put in Colossal Might but thats your decision.

Colossal Might maybe, but deffinately not Titanic Growth. the growth costs too much, two mana for +4/+4 is the least efficient pump spell in the deck. Colossal Might though, might be worth considering. yes, it is still expensive, but it does give trample so you wont have to worry about chump blocking.

Curius52 says... #12

Both Colossal Might and Titanic Growth aren't in because they aren't efficient enough compared to the other pumps. I've addressed Kavu Predator already, and also the addition of Goblin Guide. I will consider Become Immense as an 2 of finisher. Also, the Lava Spikes will probably become Atarka's Commands.

Kavu Predator seems pretty badass.

Grove of the Burnwillows can help pump him. Though it's pretty expensive.

Condemn and Swords to Plowshares are both white, but pump him too.

Healing Leaves, Hunters' Feast, Invigorate and Nature's Claim will pump him too.

Not sure how much you play it for the life gain, but Ranger's Guile could go in place of Sheltering Word in the sideboard.

I made a similar deck The best thing since sliced bread I use Groundswell and Might of Old Krosa you can use them both for +4/+4 most of the time.

I have a similar deck constructed that I've used in modern before. Vexing Devil sucks for this type of deck. He is a creature if you want 4 damage, or 4 damage when you need a creature. Unless you're worried about budget, I would totally suggest running 2 more Goblin Guide. Then secondly, Nivmagus Elemental is totally main board-able in place of either your 4 Vexing Devils, or the 2 if you run 4 Goblin Guide. In fact, I would go as far as to say he is better than Monastery Swiftspear. Because instead of just getting +1/+1 per spell, you're getting 2 COUNTERS, so he is going to stay a slightly big fella.

Just my 2 cents :D I'll take inspiration from this deck to make mine better. +1!

YESSSSS! FINALLY SOMEONE USED CHARGING BADGER! I AM SO HAPPY NOW!

My life is complete. After I build my U/G Storm Crow Duplication deck.

In all seriousness, why Sheltering Words in the sideboard over something like Ranger's Guile? I'd also take out the Kavu Predators and put them in the board, as many decks do not gain life at all. Find something better for the slot. He can come in against Soul Sisters.

Damn this deck is sweet. +1

Gotta take out the Giant Growths, put it Groundswell or Might of Old Krosa.

Any consideration for Blistercoil Weird to back up Swiftspear? I really like this deck concept, I've thought about doing something similar myself. +1 from me.

No Goyf?

How about Burning Tree Emissary? I've seen it do work.

Manamorphose filters through the deck and triggers prowess

Siding into a few green infect creatures may be nice with all the power modifiers?
