What do you think about Seize the Day it's cheap and has flashback. Fury of the Horde can be a game changer as well since you can potentially play it for free.

Lightning Bolt is kinda Meh in EDH I would replace it with Warleader's Helix , its still fetchable with Sunforger, and it causes an 8 point lifeswing//kills something with 4 toughness instead of just doing 3 damage. +1 Upvote

Tutors would probably be very helpful in here to get equips that you'd need in a pinch, unless you don't want to play multiplayer EDH. Sculpting Steel , the large golem dude that fetches equips, Enlightened Tutor Demonic Tutor etc

They are staples, but might be necessary for success.

Divinity of Pride is a personal favorite, but probably not useful.

There haven't really been any other tron-like Mardu/Dega/Oros commanders, just Tariel (typically politics) and Kaalia, but look at mono-white or Naya tron ( eight tails, uril the mist stalker )decks to get more utility. Mardu is a very strong utility wedge considering the white and black tutors and whatnot.

You're right, I do need more tutors. Luckily, I own a ton of the staples, so a Demonic Tutor isn't so far fetched.

If you want to spend money in the future, Vindicate over Mortify might be a good idea.Rakdos Charm is god against token decks for the 1 damage for each creature, so if your meta has a ghave or something, I'd run that.

What is Decide doing for you?

Sofi, solas and sofaf are the good swords, sobam and sowap are kinda lacking. If you can get the first three, It'd probably be good.

Keep in mind that you cant equip stuff to a creature with Whispersilk Cloak stuck on it.Argentum Armor might be worth considering.While meta, also consider a Top or a Rack.

Also consider Puresteel Paladin for card draw, although there's a ton of card draw in Black, like Bitterblossom and Skullclamp or even Necropotence

Land Tax would help you mana. Grab whatever basic lands you need, perfect since a lot of decks mana ramp early.
