Classic artificer list which relies on Sydri's ability to make chump deathtouch blockers, and turn my and my opponent's creatures into creatures, so they can be more easily answered.

The deck is meant to feel like 100 little cogs, all working and spinning together to create one giant machine, each card should be synergistic with each other card (in an ideal universe).

Currently trying to decide if Mycosynth Lattice is worth a slot.

My playgroup frowns upon land destruction and infinite combos, so if you're surprised not to see Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry that's why.

Notable Exclusions:

Sharuum the Hegemon

Not enough combo/flicker/recursion in the deck to make her a value 99 card. Sad about the flavor, but what can you do? (Just imagine that Enigma Sphinx is actually Sharuum.

Lightning Greaves

This one may go in eventually. Shroud really hurts the deck, as I rely on targeting my creatures with Sydri. I do run Neurok Stealthsuit for the extra protection, however, you can move that around by paying , so I'm not worried about it making the deck clunky. I'll still have to play to see if either of these belong in the deck.

Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas

He is $50+. Nuff said.

Cyclonic Rift

Every blue deck under the suns has CRift. Do I need it? Maybe. Do I want to play another deck with it? Not really. Will I put it in? Probably.

Riddlesmith

Right now, as the deck is still baby, I couldn't find a spot for him, my creature count is already around 20, and I wanted to make sure I had room for good artifacts. Vedalken Archmage Should be enough.

Counterspell

Classic counterspell is in most blue EDH decks, it's almost necessary. I knew I needed answers to Vandalblast and its ilk, but I didn't want to be 1 for 1-ing myself.. like ever. Counterspells should be repeatable, so I went for Stronghold Machinist and Forbid instead, mostly because the discard is powerful if you can recur the cards you're discarding/ have enough draw power to protect yourself. Figuring most artifact boardwipes (aside from Bane of Progress) are sorceries, I could also stand to run Swan Song, which is one of my pet cards, however that would be if I run into a LOT more artifact wipes.

Turn a permanent into squirrel? Staff of Nin#2?

Valor

Block, first strike deathtouch dmg, sacrifice the artifact creature, Martyr's Bond Dictate of Erebos card draw or other bonus effect synergy. Or I don't sac it and keep my blocker.

Wonder

Flying deathtouch is pretty good. The question is if I have enough sac outlets to get Wonder into my graveyard consistently.

Any suggestions are highly appreciated, keep in mind this is not meant to be a super spiky deck. Probably wanting this to be my "fair deck" since people complain about Akroma, Angel of Fury and Mizzex of the Izmagnus sometimes.
