Maybeboard

Mono-black partners Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools and Sengir, the Dark Baron. Yes, you can have two mono-black commanders as partners. Yes, you don't have to pick different colours. Why would you need any other colours when you have black?

This deck was originally based on Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder but I recently changed it up.

There are three categories of nonland cards in this deck: Stuff that makes tokens, sacrifice outlets, and death triggers. My two commanders fulfill all three, where previously Endrek Sahr was just a token maker. This deck got way better!

HOW IT WORKS

A lot of the early plays in this deck will be expendable creatures; most of them produce mana when they die, which is how you can get some early big stuff like one of your commanders. Usually you want to play Tevesh Szat first because he starts to make tokens.

Most of the sacrifice effects and death triggers will either produce mana or draw cards, and most of the sacrifice costs are free. This is how you get a combo engine going. Yes, there are lots of ways to make infinite combos with this deck. Just playtest it and see. There's no point writing it all out. Pick any card with a card draw effect and any card with a mana producing effect, and any card that makes tokens, and there ya go. Example: Phyrexian Altar, Smothering Abomination, and Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder. In this example, every time you play a creature, you get to recoup the creature's mana cost and draw that many cards. If you draw a creature, you can do it again, finding more combo pieces along the way like Carnival of Souls to get more mana, or Nadier's Nightblade.

Pitiless Plunderer really shines in this deck because it gives you mana every time a creature dies. This can pay for the costs on cards like Attrition and Mind Slash, which are both very oppressive when you have a massive amount of tokens. Thought Distortion is the black version of Amnesia that stops blue players from countering your spells, or green/white players from destroying your enchantments, or really anyone from doing anything to stop you.

Razaketh, the Foulblooded is a real gem, because he gets you whatever combo pieces you are missing. It's even worth it to let Endrek Sahr die to get the 8 thrulls, because you can reanimate Endrek Sahr with Dread Return.

Another great one is Feaster of Fools. There's nothing like casting him with Endrek Sahr in play, and then devouring 6 thrulls to make him huge.

There's nothing in here with haste, and I realize that there might be only two cards for black that would help with this. However, if you're looking to win on the turn you go off, then maybe Thoughtpicker Witch is the way to go.

If any of your combo pieces are causing you to draw too many cards, then that's what Infernal Tribute is for. Trivia point: It's one of the very few black cards that lets you sacrifice a black enchantment.

The Elderspell and Rings of Brighthearth are in this deck because you have Tevesh Szat as a commander.

updates

Gravecrawler out (because there are no zombies in the deck - I'm prejudiced) and Endless Cockroaches in.
