Finally updated!! I will leave the old description for now as I rework my description for the deck. I am in the process of narrowing down the exact stax, tempo, combo balance.

old description A major update may be in the near future to streamline the deck now that I have access to explosive cards like Candelabra of Tawnos and Gaea's Cradle. My meta is dominated by storm, Paradox Engine, Protean Hulk, and dramatic scepter combos. Due to this stax decks are growing in popularity. I am seeking a spot in the middle as a tempo deck that can combo finish but spends most it's time slowing the table to a reasonable pace.

Finally was able to get Gaea's Cradle and of course had to add Crop Rotation. As I get more expedition fetch lands I will change out the battle lands for them.

I'm reluctant to do a full primer on this deck until I feel it's list is final, but I will highlight a few key parts.

Dramatic Reversal+Isochron Scepter capitalizes on the absurd number of mana sources in the deck and allows you to close out with Aetherflux Reservoir or if you feel more fancy Planar Bridge to build your own combo.

Due to the timing of Derevi, Empyrial Tactician's untap ability you can generate a lot of mana inside the combat step that does carry to the main phase. Planar Bridge, Blue Sun's Zenith, and Deadeye Navigator can great outlets for this extra mana.

The deck runs a bunch walkers and take extra turn spells. The primary driving focus is to get max value out of each turn you take so taking those extra turns can swing the game in your favor or more likely close the game. Venser, the Sojourner+Eternal Witness+any turns spell will close the game.
