You ought to look into some Abrupt Decays. You only have creature removal, and can easily be shut down by a Phyrexian Unlife

I'm on a budget, so Abrupt Decay isn't on my radar, realistically anyways. And besides, Phyrexian Unlife really isn't played in my meta.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I am pretty sure that Beacon of Immortality does not actually have the player GAIN life. It would have to say "target player gains life equal to their life total." I'm not the end all be all, and not a judge, but I'm pretty sure...

No, Beacon of Immortality works. Any change in life is considered a gain or a loss of life, so when you double your life total you're actually just gaining life equal to your current life total. I own a b/w version of this deck and have ended many games with Beacon of Immortality.

"If you double a negative life total, you do the real math. A life total of -10 becomes -20.
Beacon of Immortality's effect counts as life gain (or life loss, if the life total was negative) for effects that trigger on or replace life gain (or life loss)."

And Penga, what do you think of mine?

Alright. Magic: the game where you can play forever, and never fully understand.

I like the green splash, however I'm a little worried an aggro g/w beatdown deck or naya aggro could beat you down before your burn comes online. I would recommend maybe more control-esque spells like Wrath of God (or Day of Judgment if your on a budget) and Dismember. Path to Exile and Oust are both good removal spells.
As for mana, your base looks good except for Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. I normally only run one because it's a legendary land.
Here's my list: Bad Reaction to Simochi V2

I think I have a Dismember or two sitting around, if I do, I'll stick them in. I really like Oust with Condemn. I wish I had the money to lay out for Paths, but sadly, I do not. Besides, I think the removal I have will definitely slow my opponent's game down more than paths and actually work towards my end goal a little bit better. I do agree with you on the Urborg front too and I'll look into some Day of Judgments since regeneration really isn't an issue in my meta.

I also, really appreciate Rebuff the Wicked in here. It's a really solid defense against someone trying to Abrupt Decay my Remedies.

@Awesomenator33: It wouldn't be bad, but it is a bit slow in my opinion.

If you play casually, or want to go legacy, you should consider False Cure and Invigorate.

Cool concept.
A couple quick things:all the Rebuff the Wicked, Faith's Shield stuff seems worse than Greater Auramancy.
Healing Salve still doesn't seem worth it (combo Lava Spike seems quite bad). Beacon of Immortality and Rest for the Wicked are sweet though.
Not sure how much green you got going on but.. Kavu Predator is one of the earlier "I hate lifegain!" cards

I'm not sure if Kavu Predator would activate off remedy because remedy's text says instead of gaining life, they lose it. Also Greater Auramancy is a fantastic card for this deck, but a wee bit outside of my budget sadly :/

And helloyesiamryan, I think Invigorate would be interesting in sideboard, especially against Emrakul and shit like that. It would make Alms Beast much more effective

Kavu Predator will not trigger if you have a tainted remedy out, but he does offer an alternative win condition if your opponent is keeping your taints off the field.

I may be mistaken about this, but wouldn't it be better to run the full playset of Faith's Shield over Rebuff the Wicked? I'm fairly certain it can't counter an Abrupt Decay

RoarMaster I'll think I'll sideboard a playset of Kavu Predator so I can totally switch my gameplan if need be. I really like the idea now that I think about it. Rebuff the Wicked protects all of my permanents and Abrupt Decay's text says "Destroy target nonland permanent"
December 7, 2015 1:55 p.m.
Um, I think what mebamissle meant when he said Rebuff the Wicked cannot counter Abrupt Decay, he was referring to the first line,"Abrupt decay can't be countered by spells or abilities."

Wow, I can't read. My bad fam. I skim super hard sometimes lol. As far as that goes though, I like having 3 of both, if only because they're really good one drop protection for Remedy

Mono-White-Man says... #25
Beacon of immortality doesn't work because it doesn't make players gain life, it changes their life total. Therefore making it not work with Tainted Remedy.

I think I like Faith's Shield in mainboard and Razor Barrier in sideboard.
