There is a surprising amount of Control running around in Standard at this point in time, and it this Naya brood just can't withstand it all in complete honesty. I either didn't have the double mana I needed, or Maybe I just wasn't allowed to resolve or they had some way to get rid of my big fat Dragon-lord. It honestly didn't matter, either way FNM turned out terrible for me in the long run.

I went home with a determination and took a short look at some at my other opponents decks and noticed that I lacked a little in the removal department and I also took a small note on something I didn't really consider an advantage at first in this deck but later on I figured "Eh, maybe it is.."

  • Planeswalkers -

So, I decided to throw in two Ajani, Mentor of Heroes in the deck. I had a little problem with white, so I went ahead and threw in Temple of Plenty and a little bit of draw from Shamanic Revelation in case I needed to gain life and draw cards for answers.

Courser of Kruphix and Sunscorch Regent were, indeed, nice editions to the deck but in all reality that's all they were... They didn't prove to be a necessity through out the entire game since I already have Dragonlord Dromoka on the field most of the time to gain life for me. So, I took those suckers out.... Also messed with the sideboard a little, but not much.

All in all, I'm hoping these changes make a difference.
