I'm at work so i will put it short....you have 96 cards so my suggestion is to put Phyrexian Arena, Forbid, Logic Knot and Song of the Dryads. enpc is right, the deck lack reanimation combo like Reanimate/Flash/Exhume+Woodfall Primus/Terastodon

@enpc Yeah, I admit this is definitely a 'good stuff' sort of deck, but your points are duly noted. That being said, I'd rather not devote the whole strategy to a combo, but like having one here to end games. If that fails, the beatdown plan with fatties (is that what Battlecruiser is?) can work. That's my thinking, anyway.
That being said, should I add more ramp, counterspells, or both? I like Forbid and Logic Knot, DVLuca, thanks!

i think that if you improve, even a little, the manipulation of the deck like Frantic Search you may play it the way it is already or add at least Circular Logic. Slice in Twain can easily be repleaced by Abrupt Decay. take a look at Soothsaying, is impegnative but a realy handsome card!

Right on! Is Abrupt Decay all that relevant in EDH? I mean, it's awesome removal in Modern and Legacy, but it seems subpar in EDH. Why is it good here?

You're better off using something like Beast Within. It allows you to hit anything including creatures with no restrictions on it.
EDIT: should have checked the decklist properly first, derp :P
Your other option is Putrefy - it lets you hit creatures and artifacts (generally more relevant than enchantments).

Why Murmurs from Beyond over something like Impulse or Strategic Planning?

aeonstoremyliver this build dies easy by Torpor Orb that in my meta is everywere (i play Animar, soul of elements, it's terrible trust me) is to take out the likes of Rhystic Study, Scroll Rack, Oblivion Stone ecc ecc. these are the cards you have to take under control in my opinion. Gale7 the reason becouse he run Murmurs from Beyond is that's the fusion of the other two, Impulse dont put cards in the graveyard and Strategic Planning is a sorcery.

@ Gale7 I can get back the card that was pitched in the yard with Taz from a Murmurs from Beyond. Kinda neat, and it's an Instant.
@ DVLuca I run a few Artifact killers and general spot removal. I'm also considering a secondary combo with Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Flourishing Defenses, and Black Sun's Zenith. This is of course pending my table has a ton of creatures on the board and I have mana to dump.

aeonstoremyliver can I say that the combo you mentioned is a lilltle too hard to gather? creature-enchantment-sorcery.... two tutor at least? one of my friend run a similar deck, I suggest you Mikaeus, the Unhallowed+Triskelion that you can tutor with Fauna Shaman or better with Survival of the Fittest. That way you take an additional free slot. Let me Know!!

Yeah, I thought about it, but will probably jam that Melira/BSZ combo in another deck that already uses Melira. I like the creature based Palinchron/Deadeye I have here for infinite mana and it's more like a last resort or coup de tat.

You may want an Eternal Scourge. It's pretty strong with delve.

Seems ok... I generally have enough mana to just hardcast Taz, or Delve a few fetch lands away. Taz really helps me dig for combo pieces, and with something like Future Sight, infinite mana with Palinchron and Deadeye Navigator, I basically just outright win.
So Delve isn't exactly what I'm doing with this deck, as I like to recur cards from the yard with Taz, Life from the Loam, Crucible of Worlds, etc. I'm really trying to win with the aforementioned infinite mana and Blue Sun's Zenith, causing everyone to draw their decks.

Have you considered another commander other than Taz? I know that he's good, and I like him, but both Damia, Sage of Stone and Leovold, Emissary of Trest provide more card advantage for you.

I could do Damia as an alternative, but Leovold, Emissary of Trest isn't going to let me win with the infinite mana/Blue Sun's Zenith when he's on the field. I really do like Taz as the interaction with the graveyard is quite interesting, fun, and utilitarian. If I were to have an alternate, it probably would be Damia.

My general rule when it comes to counterspells is either run a bunch or don't run any at all. If you don't have enough then chances are you won't have them available when you need them.
Secondly, I'm trying to figure out what your win con is. You have some ok stuff, but it feels a bit all over the shop. You have things like Golgari Grave-Troll but you're not playing a reanimator deck. You also have top end creatures like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger but aren't super heavy on ramp. Not to mention youv'e added a combo victory to your deck. The second yo udo that you'll find yourself more ran more just going for the combo win, making the rest of the deck strategy irrelevant.
If you want to play Tooth and Nail combo, then yo uneed to commit to it as a strategy. Same goes wih battlecruiser style decks.
I run a Damia, Sage of Stone deck which is desined for quite a creature heavy meta and uses Tooth an Nail to combo off:
Damia Morgendorffer
Commander / EDH enpc
SCORE: 35 | 11 COMMENTS | 15067 VIEWS
I also run a Meren of Clan Nel Toth reanimator / stax deck which might give you some ideas if you want to go down that aspect (note this is a more casual deck):
Meren's Marauders
Commander / EDH* enpc
SCORE: 0 | 0 COMMENTS | 31 VIEWS
But yeah, figure you which path you want to take. In my experience, generally combo-control and battlecruiser decks are mutually exclusive. You just don't have the card space and you end up lacking in both aspects.
