Dig Through Time and its brother Treasure Cruise are two of the best card advantage spells in the game, thought they have antisynergy with graveyard recursion.

Hi jtaddeo, I admit, they are both incredible cards, however I rather like having my spells in the graveyard for things like Learn from the Past and Psychic Spiral. It may be worth putting one of them in for some emergency draw if it is required, definitely something to consider!

How about Coat of Arms (naming "Drake")?
Just a few tokens would make each other exponentially large.

Hi Rusty_Shackleford, I do already run Coat of Arms. Also you don't need to name a creature type with it, it buffs everything.

Hi geekmp3, thank you for the suggestion and the vote! Docent of Perfection Flip would be perfect for this type of deck, however I enjoy running it as a creatureless build. I am thinking of rebuilding my Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper deck and will probably include Docent of Perfection Flip in that one.

Hi Snap157, thank you for the comment and the vote! Both are brilliant cards, I may have to look in to adding them to the deck and taking out a couple of the slower or less used spells.

Solid deck Ashmed, +1 from me and I don't have a suggestion, but I do have a question: since your deck leans heavily on your commander, why have you chosen to leave Darksteel Plate or Shield of Kaldra out of your deck (judging from your careful build, I am pretty certain you considered these)?

Hi GobboE, thank you very much! Funnily enough I hadn't considered them very much for no reason other than I didn't think about them! I will definitely need to consider running one or both of them as this deck does need improving on the protection front.

Nice deck dude. Since you're playing mono blue, you should try Spelljack its an insane card, much better than Aethersnatch, playing both should be fun (just for you) :D

Hi mlequesne, thank you for the suggestion. I agree Spelljack is a much better option since you get the option to cast that spell when it suits you. I will definitely be looking at getting a copy for the deck!

First of all, great deck! I like how you didn't just stick it full of counters because Talrand. Second, you shouldn't have to pay full price for all of your spells. Sapphire Medallion is a nice one to have for $2-$4, and Battlefield Thaumaturge could be nice for snaps even though you don't really want creatures. Braingeyser might be a good mid- to late-game card to keep those counters coming in, although you do have plenty of scrying. If you really wanted to be nasty, you could try using Stasis... or maybe not. Guile does some good stuff, and if you counter your own counter with Guile you've got an infinite casting combo... giving you infinite 2/2 flyers with Talrand. Stick a Soulblade Djinn in there and you've got infinite infinity/infinity flyers. Boom.

Hi CynicalDog, thank you for the comment! Sapphire Medallion may be a good shout, I am thinking of adding a bit more ramp. I'm not sure I would remove High Tide for it though. Stasis is a card I considered, however I think it is better suited to proper prison style decks which can utilize it without screwing the owner too much at the same time. The creatures I'm also not sure about, apart from Guile of course! However I'm still debating whether or not to include creatures so it is always a possibility.

I wouldn't say remove High Tide for Sapphire Medallion, as they're both really good for this deck. I'd say maybe replace Boomerang, as Disperse does the same thing (except for land, but do you really need that?) and it can be a 1-cost with Jace's Sanctum or the Medallion... Either way, you can still play this deck without any creatures and still have a good time. Oh, and hey, Glasses of Urza maximizes troll factor.

Delta-117 that would be fatastic here, absolutly should be put in

Oh and also, from the sans set of Aether Revolt there's Disallow which you should consider.

Hi Delta-117 and Snap157. Thank you for the comments. I agree that Baral, Chief of Compliance would be a good addition to this type of deck, however as I stated in my description this is a creatureless build and will probably be remaining as such. Disallow however will be going into the deck as and when I get my hands on a copy!

Thing in the Ice Flip would be nice, pretty expensive if you're trying to keep it budget

Hi JJ59, thank you for the suggestions! I did try Stoneforge Masterwork but I found it didn't do enough to make it worthwhile. Gravitational Shift unfortunately pumps any of my opponents flying creatures and I would rather run Favorable Winds. Inundate costs a bit too much for my liking at sorcery speed, plus it won't affect any blue creatures my opponents control. Sphinx-Bone Wand is a possibility, I do keep toying with the idea of putting it in, however the high cost has always put me off. I may put test it out though as it is a decent card.

If I did decide to ever include creatures then Stormtide Leviathan is one I would definitely include endersblade.
