When two of your blue-playing friends go away for school, someone has to step in the fill the void. Here's the second build of my Talrand deck. Budget was a concern for the first draft, but I'll be adding more expensive cards as time goes on.

The strategy is standard Talrand: sit back and react to the rest of the players.

At one time, the deck played Azami, Lady of Scrolls , which is why wizardly cards like Disciple of the Ring and Docent of Perfection   are in the deck. Although I have a fondness for the former, they could probably be replaced. Most of the rest of the creatures are there to poly morph Talrand's drakes into.

I'm also dubious of Sphinx-Bone Wand, but I haven't actually played with it yet, so I'd like to withhold my judgement until I get an idea of how it performs (or doesn't).
