A Tariel, Reckoner of Souls EDH deck I've been working on. The name of the game is to control the board with targeted removal and wrath effects until you can ramp into Tariel and begin reanimating things.

I've tried to keep the deck to have a distinct Heaven/Hell theme. Many of the creatures are Angels or creatures that seem like they'd come from the underworld. I've also tried to keep my spells to have the same feel to them. I particularly like the flavour of the reanimation type effects and the X-spells.

One of my favourite things to do in this deck is the 3 card combo of Tariel, Thornbite Staff, and Darksteel Plate. After equiping Tariel with both and casting a wrath effect, you're able to reanimate all creatures in your opponent's graveyards that just died.

Overall the deck is a little rough with mana flooding and really needs to be in a multiplayer game to shine. I plan on adding a Sunforger toolbox and a better suite or wraths such as Life's Finale, Damnation and Black Sun's Zenith at some point.
