The artifacts are the engine. Altar of Dementia, Altar of the Brood, Anvil of Bogardan, Mesmeric Orb and Memory Jar make sure the graveyards are always full.

Illusionist's Bracers, Magewright's Stone, Thousand-Year Elixir makes Tariel a random value machine. Also helps Goblin Welder and Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker reach there full potential.

The enchantments are technical support (and personal pet cards)

Debtors' Knell keeping with the reanimation theme.

Flameshadow Conjuring and Sneak Attack for the cheating theme.

And because every deck needs a smidge of control. Martyr's Bond eye for an eye, Solitary Confinement fills your graveyard while giving you a forcefield and Stranglehold punish tutors and extra turn effects.

The instants are the deck in a nutshell. Put stuff in the graveyard Entomb, reanimate big stuff from the graveyard Goryo's Vengeance and cheat big stuff from your hand Through the Breach.

The sorceries are mass removal, mass discard, mini reanimation and tutor effects.

One nifty trick with the spells in this deck is Insidious Dreams picking an appropriate pile and stacking Reforge the Soul on top.

The creatures are the biggest and meanest in the colors.

Angel of Despair and Ashen Rider are very powerful and there symmetry is a great addition to this list.

Kokusho, the Evening Star and Yosei, the Morning Star are personal favorites and are solid targets.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Sheoldred, Whispering One are my personal favorites of the Praetors so they made it in. I'm trying to squeeze Urabrask the Hidden in the list.

Geth, Lord of the Vault is too much fun. feeds Tariel and creates value as he does it.
