Ibuki: I saw you built a Duel Commander Mikaeus deck. Try this deck out, it's not too expensive and it works great.

2. Basal Thrull
3. Blood Vassal
4. Leaden Myr
5. Plague Myr

If anything Plague Myr is a good fit. It can carry equipment and does infect damage.

Nothing much I can think of to add to this one, well more Tutors but that's all it looks like it needs, My 1v1 was Rafiq. The deck looks solid if you can keep up the control and not go against mono-blue all day. I like the deck, how do you feel about the changes to dual commander ?

Wow I just read the updates. I had no idea of the change until I read your comment. It's fair though, now your Rafiq deck is pretty much the exact same threat as this deck since infect = doublestrike when starting life is 20. Thanks for the info! The control aspect of the deck works well because there is SO MUCH DISCARD in here. I am going to updating the list in the upcoming weeks, nothing major just a fine tune.

What about Word of Command? It's a bit pricy (money-wise) but being able to look at and manipulate your opponents hand, especially at instant speed; seems like it it could fit well

I think you would benefit greatly from Hall of the Bandit Lord (and Expedition Map); really sweet list!

Cut Vow of Malice for Read the Bones - If your opponents are smart, they will hold up removal for your commander. When you try to enchant it, they will remove it in response resulting in a 2 for 1. Read the bones allows you more gas to ensure that even though the table will be hitting you, you can hit back.

Cut Shade's Form for No Mercy - Same issue with above and if you use it on your commander, you won't get it back unless you let your commander go to GY because it isn't technically "dying. People will try to kill you and mo mercy is a deters them

Cut Ward of Bones for Sensei's Divining Top - I used to love ward of bones, but I don't see how you abuse it. Even if Skittles is your only creature, they can still play one creature. It's 6 CMC and doesn't exactly stop your opponents, if anything it just paints an even bigger target on your back. Top will allow you to filter into what you need. Even better with shuffle effect like tutoring, fetches, etc...

Doesn't Syphon Mind draw a lot of hate? Wondering if you'd consider substituting with something that could give you an immediate selection, such as Imperial Seal, Beseech the Queen, Grim Tutor, or Dark Petition?

Aren't you more likely to have an immediate power upgrade on Skithiryx (or any Infecter) with Nightmare Lash over Runechanter's Pike?

Wondering if there's any situation where you would run Defense Grid over Infernal Darkness, plenty of ramp so you can still cast your instants and might save you from some counterspells.
