Removed the first 17 cards from the set. Only 14 more to go.

If you've already got an Ashnod's Altar, an Exsanguinate, a Debt to the Deathless, why not add a Teysa, Orzhov Scion and a Darkest Hour to give you another win-con?

Maybe even toss in a Phyrexian Altar to boot, so that the Teysa/Darkest Infinite Sacrifice Combo can pay for your triple/quadruple color symbol spells and your Extort costs.

Overall a very nice deck. The whole Extort mechanic seems very well suited to multiplayer EDH.

Dumping 'Maybeboard' here, to keep the deck as clean as possible:

With all the drain and extort you have Karlov of the Ghost Council would be pretty good. He benefits from the life gain and provides removal/control.

@Sa-Kage I think you are right. He'll get a spot for now.

Dumping the remaining maybeboard here and removing the prototype flag.

Why do you have Necrotic Sliver in the deck?

MrHighscore says... #7

@freeall he is a 'destroy target permanent' on a 2/2 body. That is pretty good, no?

Nice job! +1 for sure. I have a Tiny Leader version of this.. Still needs some tweaks though I think. I'll post it

I would assume he runs Necrotic Sliver for the same reason I do, recurrable Vindicate is really really good.

Swapped Obzedat, Ghost Council to the 99 and upped Karlov of the Ghost Council to commander, as it seems likely that I'll have enough lifegain triggers to use his exile ability frequently.

How about adding Greed to the deck? Might be good for card advantage.

MrHighscore says... #12

@logansullivan I think that Greed is pretty good, but I'm not sure there is anything I would take out for it (it is CMC4). What do you think I should drop?

possibly Painful Quandary because it really doesn't do enough for the mana cost

Ghost Council of Orzhova for a cheap sac outlet and life gain triggers for ?

Nice deck! I just noticed that most of the cards in your mainboard are 3 cmc or lower, making it entirely possible to make a second Karlov deck in Tiny Leaders. I tried it, it works great. However, in Tiny Leaders, I think you will find that Karlov is more for dumping evasion on and beating than removing. Removal on him in Tiny Leaders is just a side effect, if you happen to need it. Anyways, great deck. +1 for sure!

Great deck, good picks. I think Unspeakable Symbol might put some of that lifegain to good use, and has some minor synergies w/ other +1/+1 counter cards.

What about:
Curse of the Forsaken

Righteous Cause may be good

Thank you for the feedback and support :)

@logansullivan

-You may be right. I just assembled the deck, and will try it out, but I'm keeping Greed in mind as a candidate replacement for Painful Quandary

@Sinist3r

@HyperViper191

  • I have not tried Tiny Leaders yet, but nice to know that I have someting to work with :)

@VesuvanDoppelbanger

  • Good suggestion, though I can't find anything I would want to drop for Unspeakable Symbol.

@MidnightDawn13

  • I think Curse of the Forsaken will be too situational, and may hurt me more than I like. I'll pass for now.

@smitm901

  • Righteous Cause is too expensive for what it does, but it would be okay vs. token decks.

I wish I could help more but I would agree that Treasury Thrull would be good in here and I might add Temple of Silence.

@Mtg_mill Thank you for the feedback.

I would really like Treasury Thrull in the mix to complete the extort creature list, but I am having a hard time finding a spot for him. Thematically I could drop Sun Titan but it is just so much better. My next choice is High Priest of Penance, but that is not optimal either. I would like to hear suggestions and reasoning.

I try to avoid lands that enters tapped especially when I'm only running two colors, so I won't be adding Temple of Silence.

I know he isnt exactly theme but Athreos, God of Passage fits your mechanic well with some taxation. Indestructible is always nice to have as well.

I'm going to be building a deck with Karlov soon and the extort idea is an excellent way to get multiple life gaining triggers. +1

I have played quite a few games with this deck now, and it is way more powerful than it looks! :)
