I have a suggestion that could help smooth synergies, and also give you an infinite combo: Xenograft. On entry, name allies. Now, Brago, King Eternal is an ally. And those wolf tokens that Turntimber Ranger spits out? Now one hits, is counted as an ally on entry, and triggers his ability again. Infinite ally triggers.

the problem with the Turntimber Ranger + Xenograft combo is that it makes an endless infinite combo, which means that it goes on and on forever without my ability to stop it, and because of this rule -> 716.4. If a loop contains only mandatory actions, the game is a draw. (See rules 104.4b and 104.4f.) the game would just end in a draw, also i think infinite combos are unnecessary.

i do appreciate the suggestion though.

if Xenograft effected card types of things in the graveyard and my hand though, i would think about it for the interaction with Angel of Glory's Rise but, that's not the case.

A card that does interact with the ones in your graveyard and hand is Conspiracy. And it effects your deck too meaning general can grab brago from the deck since he is now an ally. And turntimber ranger is not an endless loop. It says on the card you MAY put a wolf into play when you get an ally. You can stop it whenever you choose. Conspiracy op

Not actually true with Turntimber. His ability says you "may" put a token out, which means at any point you can choose not to, and end the cycle.

(Sorry, missed him already pointing that out.)

oh didn't notice it said may, also conspiracy tho

The problem with conspiracy though, because it changes all types to that type. If the Angel only saves humans well if conspiracy chooses humans then you no longer get ally triggers and if you choose allys then she sees no humans in your graveyard because they have been replaced with ally

could you pick "human ally" with conspiracy?

Hey, mate. I was wondering if you perhaps could offer some slightly less budget alternatives? Obviously fetches would be the most optimal, but maybe add signets and a Chromatic Lantern? Also, despite it being a staple for EDH, I don't think Command Tower is really necessary here, as it only taps for a white mana.

Unfortunately not. Conspiracy says to pick a type, so you'd only get the one. I think though, since Xenograft says they become the type in addition to their others, you might be able to pull some shenanigans with both based on the order in which their effects happen to add human on to any ally that enters the battlefield.

Lunar2961, Command Tower is based off the commander's identity, not just their color. Tazri may be white, but because his text has all five mana symbols in it, his identity is five-color. Thus tower will provide any color. :) As for less budget suggestions... Well, one obvious one is Prismatic Omen. For non-mana-fixing, Conflux is a beautiful late-game tutor. Maelstrom Nexus gives you free stuff. Leyline of Anticipation lets you do stuff on opponents' turns, meaning you can get Nexus triggers on opponents' turns. Guided Passage is just a whole bunch of fun. Who cares if an opponent gets to choose? You still get three cards, a guaranteed land among them, for only three mana. Liliana Vess gives tutor. Bloom Tender allows you to potentially tap for five mana. If you already have all five colors of mana available, there's Door to Nothingness and Fist of Suns. Heck, you could drop in a Progenitus just to troll.

Have you have much success with this? I'm looking for alternative EDH decks and was thinking of Tazri w/budget land base. Anything work great/not so much?

so far through the testing the land base is pretty consistent Mj3913, only thing i think this deck might need is a little more ramp, and maybe more blink mechanics

Thank you very much RikuMurasaki for the information about Command Tower and alternate cards, and thank you to zcstover1 for the deck and its less budget counterpart for whenever you have it done! :)

I like this deck a lot, and my budget is still low, but I have about $150 to put a deck together for my girlfriend, and five color allies she would like.
