I concur. Showstopper blows.
+1 Pilfered Plans
No drake :(

Cluestone warrants some consideration, but plans is probably more useful.

I feel like we've got enough blue/red fixing. If it were Rakdos or Dimir, I would give it a second thought.

+1 Pilfered Plans. As Unforgivn mentioned, if the fixing in the pack were for black, I would be all over it. However, as is, we will already fix for blue/red fairly well, and Pilfered Plans can draw out of a stick on red, so I think that's the choice.

Yeah. But I feel like landot has been busy lately. Unless we aren't sure about which pick won (that one between the Rakdos Drake and Warped Physique was close), we can assume its there.

+1 Murmuring Phantasm.
I'm surprised the Armored Wolf and Commando came around. Those are solid beat sticks for those colors.

+1 Phantasm.
Seriously? How is Blaze Commando making it to pick 11?
July 29, 2013 1:40 p.m.
Armored Wolf too! He is so hard to kill in this format. Even we might have trouble with that guy.
Just the turn/burn and far/away will hammer him out of our collection.

+1 Phatasm.
And seriously, this pack still has too many good picks. I guess teams feel pretty safe about what will wheel. But its not like the cards taken are that good. A little bit of mana fixing (makes sense), Maze Sentinel (gotta love those elementals) and Fatal Fumes (the only removal we HAVENT stockpiled) were taken, and I can understand that. But Haazda Snare squad and Hidden Strings? They aren't that good. Certainly not better than Blaze commando, Sin collector or Armored wolf rider
July 29, 2013 2:54 p.m.
Yeah this is...interesting. Phantasm is the only relevant card to us now.
July 29, 2013 5:39 p.m.
We picked up a lot of good stuff. I wonder how well other groups did.
My theory is that everybody is scrambling for color fixing at the last moment and they are letting good stuff go by for the sake of a consistent mana base.

I would say that's probably an accurate theory.
July 29, 2013 9:25 p.m.
yeah -- it's almost worth it to pick up the blaze commando -- the guy has 5 power and is multi-colored, so gets maze elemental benefits.
but yeah, phantasm is i guess the thing.
July 30, 2013 12:19 a.m.
wow. a super-late sin collector. do we want another phantasm or the hidden strings? hidden strings can actually get sorta crazy with cyclops, but otherwise it's pretty meh.
July 30, 2013 3:18 a.m.
I'm game for another Phantasm, I think. Either is fine.
A late sin collector is odd. That's a good card!

Damn, no cyclops. The phantasm would be the obvious pick, but... maybe the Orzhov group is cocky? Perhaps we could steal their Sin Collector. I don't know how well that group is doing, but I know I don't want to get hit by a turn 3 Sin Collector with no counterspells. While I believe the phantasm is a more useful pick, I just wanted to throw that out there to possibly spark some discussion. I'll withhold my vote until later.
July 30, 2013 8:20 a.m.
Well, we could hate draft it. Probably not all that useful. The question is, do we need more phantasm or hidden strings.
Also, who the hell took trait doctoring?!?! I mean we did take p-storm over fumes but really?

Haven't heard from this group yet, but Guildgate obv. the pick.
