yeah -- that was an unpleasant experience. Learned a few things, though -- I think we're control enough that mainboarding B/E is a good idea, and rakdos drake is not good when every deck we play against is running thrashing mossdog.

Yeah. And drawing all of our land is never good. That second game should have been ours... We were basically 1 turn short (If we swung like crazy instead of holding back and finding our library betray us).

What are we seeing as our star players in the format? What are our dead draws?

Just watched the third round, and by no means did we crush them. The first game was fairly simple, but the second was really close. I wish that blast of genius would have brought up Breaking/Entering, we could have chucked the land and won by mill. Show em who's boss. Its not just about winning, its about looking cool while you do it :P

Anyone know where landot is? Need him for round 4.

How'd we do in Round 4?

Pretty good. We almost had an amazing comeback in the second game to sweep him, but a misplay with Aetherling allowed them to slip through for the win (although they eventually would have gotten a Debt to the Deathless, so holding them off with only 2 life wouldnt last long enough to whittle down their massive life total) . Game one was a win by mana screw. They came back hard once they hit lands, but Aetherling was too much to handle. Game three was long and drawn out, but we just had better cards. Gatekeepers are certainly good, but they are very unthreatening once they're on the board. We overran them with beastly evasive creatures and a huge Blast of Genius.

Landot and Darkness are playing tonight at 8 PST. It's be cool if we could get a group thing going. Skype maybe?
