So I ran my deck list at FNM yesterday, and I ended up in 1st place going 4-1. The only match I had lost, we rematched in the finals, and I came out on top. Selesnya Charm is so good, helped me get rid of Obzedat, Ghost Council and Predator Ooze, after feeding some wolf tokens to it.

I've read through this comments, and I'm just wondering what your thoughts are for Kruin Outlaw Flip for this deck. I'd suggest Instigator Gang Flip too, but thats a 4 drop.
I was thinking about you maybe replacing Wolfbitten Captive Flip as any tricks you can call pull with him are only possible after turn three.
Just wondering, what you think. :]

The tricks you can do with Wolfbitten Captive Flip involves flipping your werewolves. It also gives you a possible 1 drop for your first turn.
I've had the discussion about the Kruin Outlaw Flip in a much earlier version of Team Pavlov (about a year ago). Back then, I realised it was extremly hard to come by the RR mana required to play him. Since this is a 3 color deck focusing mainly on Green mana, getting that RR is too unreliable.
If you change this deck into a Gruul deck (G/R) and run 8-12 dual lands (gates included), it would be much easier to pull it off. But I do think the instants in Naya are too strong to pass on atm.

Gatecrash is the final 3/3 set in the Ravnica Block. Yes, it will still be valid.

IMPORTANT UPDATE :
To all fans of werewolves, my country (Quebec) recently made a game about Quebec's lore of Werewolves and Maikans. I just finished the game (15$, about 10 hours of gameplay) and not often do I get as much fun as I did playing it.
In Steam : Check out "Sang-Froid : Tales of Werewolves"

Hi! I really love your deck from a gameplay and theme point of view! Almost all my friends play Modern, Would you have some modern card recommendations to add?
Thanks in advance!

Ever think about adding some Kruin Outlaw Flip ? This creature made my werewolf deck amazing.

To add Kruin Outlaw Flip , my mana base would have to be much more oriented toward Red. Right now, I have 16 green sources and only 12 red or white sources. The reason I go hvy on green is not only because all my creatures are green, but also because I think Wolfir Avenger has a lot more use in this deck as my 3 cmc creature than Kruin Outlaw Flip . Mainly because of the flash (allowing werewolves to flip) and because it's a direct counter to Thragtusk .

After testing, this Team Pavlov is going back Jund for sure. Naya werewolves have too many counters. To name a few :
Restoration Angel , Falkenrath Aristocrat , Blood Artist + Tokens, Mass Enchantments / Artefact decks, Stuffy Doll + Blasphemous Act , Trostani, Selesnya's Voice + mass tokens, Rhox Faithmender + Chalice of Life Flip , Entreat the Angels , etc.
My old Jund version just had an answer to everything and was much more versatile, but did struggle a little more against reanimator decks and "super friends" (mass planewalkers) deck. Reverting back to Jund with the upcoming expansion.
Changes in progress.

Deck revamped, this is close to the final version. The deck's description has also been updated a little.

What do you think of Flesh / Blood ? I worked wonders in my Gruul/Rakdos deck at the DGM prerelease, and I was mostly just using it for Blood .

Wondering if Wolfir Silverheart has a place in this deck... 12 effective power and toughness for 5 mana is incredible, and it's damage goes through Moonmist

I would defenetly use Flesh / Blood if it was an instant ... it's not. Blood would only deal 2-3 damage most of the time. Creatures with 3 toughness are usually in the range of Abrupt Decay , which is much more versatile (since it can target enchants, Liliana, etc.) and also since it's an instant.
Wolfir Silverheart used to be in the deck. Unfortunatly, I found out he is too slow and the soulbound mechanic can play tricks on you if your opponent has instant removals to break the bound at the worst of time. I decided to replace my big creature spells with big removal like Putrefy . That way, I keep my early aggro game and I can still deal with bigger creatures late game.

Are you planning to do anything with this deck since Dragon's Maze?
June 15, 2013 10:37 p.m.
I'm sorry but I don't quite understand why the flash on Wolfir Avenger makes it great for flipping your werewolves

I am curious what will you do when the tap lands cycle out next week? What will the land base become?
July 12, 2013 10:25 a.m.
DeathByDragons says... #21
The tap lands won't cycle out next week. They cycle out in September when Theros comes out. Theros, however, will bring dual lands. Also, there isn't much point of asking since almost this entire deck will be non-standard when rotation hits.

Will you consider Mutavault for the deck now with M14??
July 14, 2013 4:58 p.m.
You still keeping this deck active? Or have you finally threw in the towel on it?

Any chance you could help me with a red green werewolf deck? Been researching and tweeking for months and I can't get it running right

I am going to miss this deck once Theros releases. It was a good run though.

I run two less land so I have the two Yeva, Nature's Herald. Running at 22 land has rarely been an issue. 23 might be ideal. But then I'd have to make a painful cut =p
