I think I'll say Showstopper is the pick, but if you guys would rather the Maze Rusher let me know. I doubt we'll use Gleam.

I want the Maze Rusher
cause it's a creature and we don't have a ton of those right now. As a 6 drop, I'd rather have the oncolor Maze Rusher
than Gleam of Battle
, and we don't have enough creatures to make a single Showstopper
(let alone a second one) good.

Yeah, Maze Rusher seems fine. If we had more creatures, I think Gleam of Battle would definitely be better, but we don't.

One thing I may do, starting tomorrow, is begin slowly moving cards over to the Main, and we can discuss kinda as we go through pack 3. I know our color pie will be hanging out like a butt in a onesie with the flap open, but if we add the cards in odd orders, it shouldn't make a big difference. And what's someone gonna do, hate us out of pick 8?
I mean, I think it goes without saying we want our Putrefy and Tajic and some guildgates and cluestones, so I can start chunking them in where appropriate and we can grow the deck as we go.
As for this pick.. I really, really want the Master but if you guys think he sucks just tell me. Other things I think stand out here are the possible third Gladiator, or a Rakdos Drake if we want.

Yessssss let us have the Master of Cruelties . We have a late-game deck, and I really want to see him work like I know he will. XP
That being said, I'd be okay with a third Carnage Gladiator and hope the Rakdos Drake (or at worst the Maze Behemoth ) wheels.

Personally I hope we see a Maze Sentinel just so we can have the Master on offense and defense. :)
A pity there's no fight effect in DGM we could use with him.

Hopefully, another Carnage Gladiator comes along. But we're definetly taking Master of Cruelties . Unless they have a removal spell, or another, 4/x or greater first striker, He's pretty much each combat, kill a guy. Alot of the time, he's 3 for 1 or 4 for 1 before they can deal with him. Hopefully, we can pick up a few evasion creatures to deal that last damage or a Punish the Enemy .
On a side note, you guys know that if we block with Carnage Gladiator out, we lose a life too?
And we really need more guild gates

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I'm fine not having two Gladiators right now. It hurts us also.
On the other hand, we're few on creatures enough that I see it not being that big a deal.
This pack is going to be good to us, and we should see a decent handful of creatures and gates to grab. I can feel it.
