I am trying to build a deck for Standard play and with Battle of Zendikar coming out soon I absolutely canceled out all Theros block cards since they will be rotated out. Also it helps to mention that I have never played Standard before so I would greatly appreciate suggestions and help on refining this deck even more. There were a lot of options for this deck, but I chose the ones I felt were probably the best.

The way this deck goes is that the Avalanche Tuskers remove the my opponents competition and kills their creatures. If by some off chance my Tuskers die I run a play set of Den Protectors to bring em back from the dead. Ice Feather Aven gives good control mechanics with it's ability to send creatures back to their owner's hand. Savage Knuckleblade and Flamewake Phoenix are good early game starters to lay down the heat on my opponents. Dragonlord Atarka is a win condition within herself. A giant Dragon plopping down burning stuff as it drops and then starts swing for the win. Lastly Rattleclaw Mystic is a personal favorite of mine cause her Mana Fixing is absolutely gorgeous.

Anyways yes I know I am a newbie at this so please constructive criticism is well appreciated. I may not have the best dual lands cause I simply do not have the pocket money for such a thing and I don't expect to go pro with this deck.
