This is a fairly straight forward Monsters strategy adapted over to the Temur colors, and I honestly think that this variant is the best that I have played with. Not only do you get huge creatures but you also get great combat tricks, kill spells, and counters that leave your opponent wide open for attack. Almost all of your creatures are at least decently hard to deal with in some way shape or form and even if they die you have plenty of more at your disposal that are just as big and nasty.

One thing I noticed about this deck is that it has a really good matchup against the Abzan decks. The aggro version has a hard time getting around your creatures because of their size and the midrange is too slow often times to deal with your creatures. seige rhino is not terrible do deal with either considering you have the counter and fight spell Temur Charm that can normally deal with the Rhino with out your creatures dying. You also have the Chandra, Pyromaster +1 ability to deal 1 damage to it and prevent it from blocking. This often times leaves them wide open to get hit in the face, and then at the end of your turn you can use Stoke the Flames to kill it.

The Prophet of Kruphix is a sweet touch to this strategy because if I have it late game I get to swing and then go on the defensive while leaving my mana wide open to cast other spells like more creatures at flash speed, counters, and Stoke the Flames .

Some of you may wonder why Xenagos, the Reveler is not in the deck, and it is for the reason that there is a better 4 drop in these colors for the current standard format and that card is Ashcloud Phoenix . Xenagos is still a great card, but Ashcloud has proven to be a better card for the reason that it is hard to get rid of in this kill heavy format. Most of your opponents will have to 2 for 1 it to permanently get rid of it and if flies. Satyr tokens cannot do that. Yes the tokens can get big in numbers fast, but Xenagos is mostly a mana producer and a distraction for this format.

The side-board is fairly standard. You have Anger of the Gods and Searing Blood to deal with goblin rabble master and the mana dorks that will be present while facing any green deck. They are also valuable against the Jeski Ascendency Combo decks, because if you can get rid of their manna dorks then they cannot win. period. The Icy Blast s that i have in the side have caused people to give me funny looks but trust me this card is insane. It helps you hit for huge sums of damage in the late game, it prevents deathtouch hornets from killing your creatures and it often times prevents your opponent from attacking for another turn. It is a late game bomb that people don't see coming and it has won me a number of games.

Hope you guys enjoy my build! If you have any suggestions feel free to add a comment or make suggestions. I hope to do a lot more winning with this deck and I hope you all can do the same!

Updates Add

I have taken out Prophet of Kruphix and replaced her with Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker. My land base has also changed to have 4 fetches in it. As for my sideboard I put in some Crater's Claws, so I can kill big things with a burn spell, Circle of Flame for anything small and red, a Surrak Dragon Claw to unexpectedly kill big things and to make anything with counter spells cry, and a Temur Ascendancy to improve my late game.
