Trying to take a page from the Esper Control decks, I wanted to make a modified control deck with a few Temur beefcakes.

Big thing here is that I didn't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money and I wanted to use cards that I already had. I am not opposed to buying more because this is for MTGO and those cards are cheaper than paper, but I still want to keep it cheap-ish.

As with Esper Control, they rely on counters and cards that allow them to dig through their decks and get the win cons they need. That said, the idea here is to counter and burn to control the board until a Surrak Dragonclaw gets resolved. Keep those counters available for spot removal! Get out your Savage Knuckleblade AFTER Surrak and you should be able to protect it if you keep mana open.
