This is a dragon deck idea I have been working on that utilizes Descent of the Dragons with Dragon Tempest to hit for lethal just from the enter the battlefield effect. How this works is you use Descent of the Dragons targeting at least five of your own creatures. The creatures will be destroyed causing five dragons to enter the battlefield triggering Dragon Tempest. Since the dragons enter the battlefield at the same time the trigger from each dragon will resolve after all of the dragons are on the battlefield meaning that all of the dragons will be counted for each trigger. This gives you five triggers of five damage each equaling twenty five damage just from the dragons entering the battlefield. Even if your opponent survives the Dragon Tempest triggers you now have five 4/4 flyers with haste to finish the job.

To help achieve this combo I am running Serum Visions to help dig through the deck and set up my top draw. I am also running Battlefield Thaumaturge to make Descent of the Dragons cost significantly less. If you target five creatures while you have a Battlefield Thaumaturge your Descent of the Dragons will only cost two mana to play rather than six. Hordeling Outburst is used to give you more targets for Descent of the Dragons to turn into dragons.In addition to the combo aspect of the deck it can also double down as a standard dragon aggro/ramp deck. Birds of Paridise and Dragonlord's Servant help to accelerate the rate at which you can play dragons and Dragonlord's Servant can also serve as a decent blocker. Stormbreath Dragons, Thunderbreak Regent, and Icefall Regent serve as the main bodies to ramp into and attack with. Each dragon brings its own benefit to the deck. Stormbreath Dragon has haste plus protection from white, Thunderbreak Regent punishes opponents who try to remove your dragons, and Icefall Regent offers a small amount of control.
