Maybeboard

This is my take on a mechanic I haven't seen much of in the times I've played standard, and do fairly decent with when i play at our local shop. May I introduce you to my Temur Energy Burn deck!

The deck plays as follows:

Get energy counters early on with ETB energy from creatures such as Aether Theorist and Sage of Shaila's Claim , get even more energy counters when you are able to play an Empyreal Voyager , slap down your Aethertorch Renegade and burn your opponent out of the game.

The deck can win in other ways too, pumping your Empyreal Voyager with Fabrication Module, making it a pretty big flying threat, or using Architect of the Untamed's energy ability if your Renegade hasn't made his appearance in the game yet.

Well there you have it, my take on a Temur Burn deck in standard! Not too costly and loads of fun with plenty of outlets for victory. I'm open to any suggestions and would greatly appreciate any help!

Thanks for checking it out! :D

Took the deck out on the interwebs and was pretty successful to say the least. Really happy with how the deck is working out, only I need a steady sideboard. The games were as follows:

2-0 against UW Spirits. The deck worked great, got our Voyager out and actually used a 6/6 beast to finish our opponent off both times.

1-1 against UR Pan. Wasn't able to draw creatures the first game and was flooded while my opponent kept grinding with Pan damage. Second game was able to use all energy into burning our opponent out.

2-0 against UR Prowess. Won the first game by pumping creatures up with our modules and beating them down. Second game I had enough energy to burn them for 12 and when I put our renegade down they just scooped.

Will play test more and see how it goes.
