tomtom9112: It is a very powerful card but do you think See the Unwritten would be better? You don't get to choose but you get 2 guys... hmmmmmm...

See the Unwritten is deffently better in my opinion, and yes you get to choose... 8 Cards? no problem with a midrange creature based deck:) and you get 2! plus you don't have to tap 2-3 creatures...

zZAZz: Should my only removal (Fall of the Hammer ) be taken out for the other 2 Rattleclaw Mystic ?

I use Imgur.com to put the pictures in;

Step 1: Find the image you want and right click to 'copy image loctation'

Step 2: Go on to Imgur (you'll need to make an account, but it's free) and go to upload and paste the image location to upload it)

Step 3: Copy the HTML from your picture and post it in the description and BOOM you got yourself a picture.

At least that's how I do it.

No! absolutely not, you should have some for removal. But not necessary Fall of the Hammer I chose it personally. (So it might be the best), but just put down -2 Courser of Kruphix , I know it's good but, not as people wants it to be:) But -2 whatever, for right now, Rattleclaw Mystic is better than anything's

You could try Polymorphous Rush its pretty sick, if you just sit with one big creature...

my only thing is Chord of Calling is instant speed and can be easily done on an end step to set you up for a kill swing next turn where as See the Unwritten is a sorcery and is susceptible to getting smacked by a cheap counter not saying chord can't be hit by the counter either but chord is less likely to get hit by it due to its versatility of being cast whenever the hell you want

tomtom9112: That's a really good point! I'll be sure to test out both :D

ok. Where are Nissa, Worldwaker and See the Unwritten ?

September 4, 2014 3:19 a.m.

Mrlicorice says... #14

M4dGun: I still haven't found what to take out for See the Unwritten , and also I don't think Nissa, Worldwaker is a good fit for this... I see the synergy with making 4/4's to trigger ferocious, but they don't enter the battlefield to trigger off of Temur Ascendancy (except for her ultimate) and I just don't have enough forests for her second plus 1 to be impactful. I may try to squeeze in a one-of Nissa if I can. Thank you for the suggestions! :D

Yeah I agree with the guy above me. It's like a cheaper in price and creature only version of Chord of Calling . It's very useful if you were mainly playing a creature base version of this deck.

Have you seen Savage Knuckleblade? It is a great early drop to keep up the pressure, and can evade removal.

SilentSpook: He just got spoiled, didn't he? :D Looks great!

drop 2x Polukranos, World Eater for Kiora, the Crashing Wave ?

Either way, +1, this is the deck that I was looking to build and it looks amazing.

LordOfDispair: Thanks! I definitely have my eye on Kiora, the Crashing Wave , we'll see if she fits :)

Looks awesome man! I'd kind of like to see another Savage Knuckleblade . Maybe a mana dork could be taken out. Try testing it out against a Mardu control deck I made, http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/nomadic-control/ . Seems like it would be a good match up.

September 7, 2014 6:37 p.m.

Mrlicorice says... #21

ockius: That's one of the coolest decks I've seen in some time! :) Also, the Savage Knuckleblade will most likely become a 4 of because it's too damn good :D What's your opinion on Frontier Bivouac in this kind of deck? Also, should Crater's Claws be included as a removal spell/mana-sink-finsher?

September 7, 2014 7:21 p.m.

Mrlicorice says... #22

ockius: Btw, it is a good match up :)

have you thought of putting Genesis Hydra Kiora, the Crashing Wave or Prophet of Kruphix ?

September 8, 2014 8:32 p.m.

Ze_Geuse81 says... #24

i would take out Sylvan Caryatid and put in Yisan, the Wanderer Bard it will help thin out your draws so you dont draw into an Elvish Mystic later on.. !!
i like the deck +1

September 8, 2014 8:33 p.m.

Mrlicorice says... #25

hijuice19: Thanks for the suggestions :D Kiora, the Crashing Wave is one I reeeeeally want to put in if I can make room! I've tested with Prophet of Kruphix and, while it let's you play lots of creatures, if it get's countered or killed on the end of my turn, I lose a chance to have played a Stormbreath Dragon or another threat. It's a fantastic card if you get it off, but it could end up slowing down your beatz. I am still debating the Genesis Hydra . I can see why he is so powerful but I'm still not sure about him... thanks again!
