Buff your hard hitters with some counters, and strike your opponent where it hurts!
A mix between creature aggro and counter buffing, this deck utilizes the aggressive elements of some Temur creatures while also splashing some support with counters. The main goal is to get Shaman of the Great Hunt out with Hardened Scales on the battlefield, to give all of your creatures massive buffs!
Note: Both Monastery Swiftspear and Destructive Revelry are placeholders for Zurgo Bellstriker and Atarka's Command in the upcoming set.
Gameplan
Early-Game - Start off by establishing a base to build off of. Cards like Hardened Scales and Raise the Alarm will allow you to have more versatile plays in the later game, and get bigger, scarier creatures! You can also use Monastery Swiftspear to swing early (currently a placeholder for the unreleased Zurgo Bellstriker).
Mid-Game - Now that you've settled down, Goblin Rabblemaster and Flamewake Phoenix will start hitting your opponent. Both come in with some sort of haste, and will make an immediate board threat. This is also a good time to use cards like Chained to the Rocks and Destructive Revelry (currently a placeholder for the unreleased Atarka's Command) to clear the board, or Feat of Resistance and Valorous Stance to save your own creatures.
Late-Game - This is the time to come in with your game changers. Both Shaman of the Great Hunt and Citadel Siege will consistently give you creatures more and more power, and can often be used as a win condition if the situation is right.
Don't forget that with all of these buffs comes Hardened Scales, making the counters much more dangerous!
Please help improve the speed and efficiency of this deck with your own recommendations, thanks!
