Maybeboard

This is my prized EDH deck. I have blinged it out as much as I can, and will continue to try to find the remaining foils. I am a Timmy at heart, but I also very much appreciate combo, and so Omnath, Locus of Rage's landfall tokens and Lightning Bolt triggers are exactly what I want in a commander. The moment I saw this card during the Battle for Zendikar spoiler season, I had a foil Omnath, Locus of Rage pre-ordered for a far too hefty price, but I have been pimping out this deck ever since. This deck consists of three of my favorite cards in Magic: Craterhoof Behemoth, Scapeshift, and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, and they are all very synergistic with the deck's direction.

Omnath, Locus of Rage is very linear. The gameplan is very simple and straightforward--ramp into Omnath, continue ramping into more lands to trigger the token generator, and either beat down or sacrifice your tokens and burn your opponents in the face. There are alternate win conditions, of course.
Avenger of Zendikar + Craterhoof Behemoth are the classic EDH enders, but they both work well with the rest of the deck.
Prismatic Omen + Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle is but a taste of my favorite Modern deck.
Purphoros, God of the Forge + any token generator can get out of hand pretty quickly.
Kessig Wolf Run is a threat in any ramp deck, and it must be addressed sooner or later. The deck is built to take full advantage of Omnath's fat tokens through burn outlets like Warstorm Surge , Where Ancients Tread , and Goblin Bombardment.
All Is Dust is the sweeper of choice here since the deck does not have troubling picking off threats with the many Lightning Bolt triggers. These burn effects fail to dispose of indestructible threats, however, and thus All Is Dust is the appropriate answer.
Asceticism is used over Eldrazi Monument because hexproof and regeneration are more useful than indestructibility.
The sleeper here is Mina and Denn, Wildborn . Not only can they guarantee a token every turn, they also abuse Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, Temple of Abandon , and other landfall triggers like Avenger of Zendikar and Lotus Cobra.
I have played this deck almost exclusively for the past year (ever since Battle for Zendikar), and it remains my favorite EDH deck. There are weaknesses, of course, but Omnath, Locus of Rage is a threat in every game, and because of the constant ramp, he is very hard to keep in the command zone.
