I have 19 commander decks but this one was first custom build and my favorite so I decided to foil it out and now I'm just flexing. I went for either the first foil printing or promo version of cards. Some choices came down to my personal art preference since they have multiple promos, a la Stoneforge Mystic. Only 3 cards aren't foil because they haven't been printed in foil. Scrubland and Retribution of the Meek are on the RL. Ophiomancer is not because WotC just needs to print a foil version and a token for it already. I personally dislike the new Ashnod's Altar from Eternal Masters and prefer the original but sadly there's only 1 foil version of this card.
