The main game plan is usually to try to combo off, either with Teysa and
Darkest Hour
, but there are a few
Buried Alive
piles as well.
Darkest Hour
Combos require
Teysa, Orzhov Scion
,
Darkest Hour
(of course), a sacrifice outlet, and a creature to sacrifice.
Phyrexian Altar
will result in infinite coloured mana.
Ashnod's Altar
will result in infinite colourless mana.
Reassembling Skeleton will result in infinite Spirit tokens due to his ability to come back from the graveyard to the battlefield.
Altar of Dementia
will result in infinite mill (you can mill yourself if you need it).
Viscera Seer
will result in infinite scry, letting you put on top a win condition.
Carrion Feeder
will result in an infinitely large creature. This is the least useful one of the bunch if you ask me.
Blasting Station
will result in infinite pinging.
Any of them with a
Blood Artist
, a
Zulaport Cutthroat
, or a
Falkenrath Noble
will result in infinite drain.
Nim Deathmantle
+
Ashnod's Altar
will result in infinite ETB and death triggers on any creature.
Combos that don't include
Darkest Hour
:
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed
+
Walking Ballista
+ a sacrifice outlet (Mikaeus gives passive +1/+1 to non-humans you control) or one of the
Blood Artist
effects (The
Walking Ballista
pings itself to death triggering the blood artist and comes back).
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed
+
Reassembling Skeleton
+
Ashnod's Altar
+
Phyrexian Altar
. This will result in infinite coloured Mana. Sacrifice the
Reassembling Skeleton
to
Phyrexian Altar
,
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed
brings it back, sacrifice it to
Ashnod's Altar
, then bring it back from the graveyard with its ability. This loop will net you a colourless mana. Repeat infinitely. Then, do it again, but sacrifice it to
Phyrexian Altar
both times, and use the colourless mana when bringing the
Reassembling Skeleton
back. This loop will make you go down one colourless mana, and up one coloured mana. If you have
Teysa, Orzhov Scion
on the battlefield, you will also, get infinite tokens, which you can use to exile all creatures your opponents control (as long as you don't have
Darkest Hour
on the battlefield).
Leonin Relic-Warder
in the graveyard + a reanimate enchantment (
Animate Dead
or
Dance of the Dead
or
Necromancy
) + a
Blood Artist
effect OR a sacrifice outlet. Reanimate the
Leonin Relic-Warder
. Target the reanimating enchantment with its exile trigger and let it resolve. This will trigger the having to sacrifice the creature trigger of the enchantment. If you have a sacrifice outlet, sacrifice it in response to the trigger, to gain whatever the sacrifice outlet gives you. If you have a
Blood Artist
, you can just let him be sacrificed. Him dying will result in the enchantment returning to the battlefield, at which point you can repeat the loop. The exile ETB trigger is a may ability, so you can stop it in case your
Blood Artist
or sac outlet is destroyed.
Karmic Guide
and
Reveillark
in the graveyard + any reanimation effect + a sacrifice outlet. This loop can also be started by casting either as your reanimation effect.
Reanimate
the
Karmic Guide
. With its ETB trigger, target and reanimate the
Reveillark
. Sacrifice the
Karmic Guide
, and then the
Reveillark
. With
Reveillark
's death trigger, target the
Karmic Guide
, and (possibly) any power 2 or less creature. Those creatures are all
Blood Artist
(ping to death) guys,
Solemn Simulacrum
(draw your deck),
Mentor of the Meek
(draw your deck if you have infinite mana),
Fiend Hunter
(exile all opposing creatures),
Leonin Relic-Warder
(exile all opposing artefacts and enchantments),
Ravenous Chupacabra
(destroy all opposing creatures),
Suture Priest
(gain infinite life),
Grand Abolisher
,
Viscera Seer
(sacrifice outlet),
Carrion Feeder
(sacrifice outlet),
Reassembling Skeleton
. You can also target
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed
with
Karmic Guide
's ETB trigger to reanimate your whole Graveyard.
Nim Deathmantle
+
Ashnod's Altar
+ either
Teysa, Orzhov Scion
or
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed
will result in infinite ETB and death triggers, and if you have both of them, infinite Spirits, and therefore infinite Colourless Mana. Remember that you can convert colourless mana into coloured mana with
Phyrexian Altar
with these loops.
Nim Deathmantle
+
Ashnod's Altar
+
Sun Titan
+ a 3cmc or less creature in the graveyard will result in infinite death triggers. Remember that
Blood Artist
and friends trigger on their own deaths, so they can be used for this loop to gain infinite drain.
(
Nim Deathmantle
+
Ashnod's Altar
+
Grave Titan
will result in infinite 2/2 Zombie tokens, infinite colourless mana, and infinite death triggers.) You may add this combo if you feel like you want and/or need it.
Karmic Guide
and
Reveillark
+
Blood Artist
/
Falkenrath Noble
/
Zulaport Cutthroat
Karmic Guide
and
Reveillark
+
Solemn Simulacrum
Karmic Guide
and
Reveillark
+
Mentor of the Meek
Karmic Guide
and
Reveillark
+
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed
(if you want to be flashy, and mill your whole deck into your graveyard, and then reanimate everything)
Karmic Guide
and
Reveillark
and a third creature is usually the right decision.
Leonin Relic-Warder
+ any 2 creatures.
Infinite mana payoffs:
Mentor of the Meek
Walking Ballista
Nim Deathmantle
Torment of Hailfire
Skullclamp
Feel free to consider
Exsanguinate
or
Debt to the Deathless
as well if you feel like you need it.
Any Suggestions are welcome on how to improve :) (this includes editing on this thing, I need help pls)
