Teysa, Orzhov Scion

Design Philosophy:

This is intended to be a Stax deck, (force everyone to sac permanents until they are locked down). The primary win condition is combat damage after a Stax-lock.

The Plan:

1. Fodder - Cast some creatures to be sacrificed, i.e. Reassembling Skeleton

2. Stax - Cast a sacrifice engine to start locking down the board, i.e. Smokestack

3. Combo - Cast combo pieces to get value from sacrificing creatures, i.e. Requiem Angel and Teysa, Orzhov Scion

4. Lockdown/Beatdown - Lock your opponents down with Stax effects and deliver the pain.

What to Expect:

Ideally, you get ahead on the permanent count, force your opponents to sac permanents faster than they can cast, and beat 'em down.

Story:

I imagine Teysa as a powerful Necromancer using her powers over death to bargin with other mortals in exchange for their souls. The spirits she brings to the battlefield are the souls of the damned she has bound in contract, the demons are creatures she exchanges souls with for their service, and the other creatures are her still living contracts.
