Maybeboard

Teysa has an undying cartel following her Monarchy to victory.

We build a boardstate full of tokens and value then to sac out shit for extra value.

Here's how we do it.

We fill the board with tokens and things to sacrifice.

  1. Serrated Scorpion: a doubled up version of Zulaport Cutthroat on a body that can later be recurred for extra life loss. Not many people like him but I think of him as a pet card for aristocrat strategies.

  2. Tithe Taker: A staxy piece with an afterlife ability that can be abused with Teysa and Anointed Procession for extra tokens. That can also be abused with Teysa, Orzhov Scion and Darkest Hour

  3. Hallowed Spiritkeeper: The longer the game goes the stronger his ability becomes.

  4. Reliquary Monk: it's hard for orzhov to hit enchantments or artifacts so this dude becomes a 2 for one with Teysa online.

  5. Solemn Simulacrum: 3 for one creature.

  6. Dauthi Voidwalker: combos really well with Syr Konrad, the Grim and Sun Titan effects.

  7. Vindictive Lich: Goes crazy with Teysa on board. remember you pick 3 players for one round then 3 more for the second trigger. You can pick the same person for the abilities.

  8. Kokusho, the Evening Star: Is a star in this deck. Teysa + Kokusho = 10 life loss per player = 30 life gained for you. Sexy

Now we don't have a whole lot of value only having 8 LTBS but that doesn't mean we're out of gas already.

We have a small token strategy with the Afterlife Mechanic and a few other things to generate tokens.

  1. Pawn of Ulamog & Sifter of Skulls: Both are pretty much the same dude. We generate Creature versions of Treasure Tokens. when we sac the Spawns/Scions we also generate life loss from cards like Zulaport Cutthroat ect.... and generate more manas.

  2. Endrek Sahr & Ophiomancer: Generate us tokens that we can take advantage of with Anointed Procession and sac outlets to generate value every turn.

  3. Anointed Procession: I've mentioned this card enough you know why it's here.

The bread and butter to any aristocratic strategy is value from our sacrifices. These are the universal creatures; they don't care if they're tokens are full-fledged creatures. pansexuals if you will

  • Blood Artist: The weaker of these fellas cuz the only targets one player. Not a global lifeloss but still works.

  • Zulaport Cutthroat & Cruel Celebrant: The best couple for the job. These lovers love to tap everyone at the table and invigorate us with life.

  • Bastion of Remembrance: It's the same thing as Zulaport but is an enchantment so it's harder to get rid of; but also gives us a body to play with.

  • Vindictive Vampire: Similar to Zulaport and his lovers. BUT keep in mind this one DEALS DAMAGE. Not the samething as lifeloss. I'm not an expert here but I think they're different.

  • Syr Konrad: Is a huge player in this deck. Pings every opponent whenever any creature goes to the grave from anywhere. Bring him out and start your aristocratic lifestyle immediately cuz I guarantee you he will not be sticking around.

  • Elnda, the dusk rose: get her all beefy and keep swinging until she dies. With Teysa on board he +1/+1 counters get doubled as well as her dies trigger gets doubled. and with Anointed Procession on board she can win you the game.

  • Grave Pact: Can be a pseudo boardwipe in certain situations.

  • 8.Dark Prophecy: Similar to Grim Haurspex & Midnight Reaper Only it doesn't care if it's a token or a Creature. Draw yourself a card BB

Now we enter to bigotry as in no tokens alowed 9. Open the Graves: This generates us so many tokens especially when we abuse Reassembling Skeleton and Gravecrawler to generate a ton of zombies.

    1. Midnight Reaper: our Nontoken version of Dark Prophecy

    2. Athreos, God of Passage: one of the best recursion cards in this deck. Either they pay 6 (if Teysa is out) or 3 either way they take life or you get your creature back after you sac it.

    3. Requiem Angel: CRITICAL MASS: Darkest Hour, Teysa, Orzhov Scion, Teysa Karlov and a sac outlet.

Here is how aristocrats sacrifice their subjects.

  • Viscera Seer: Arguably one of the most popular aristocrats. Free sac scry. Learn how to stack your deck properly.

  • Ashnods alter: Another popular sac out let that ramps you.

  • Phyrexian Tower: A land that helps you sac? Yes

  • Aylie, Eternal Pilgrim: Not the best sac outlet here and could be replaced. Not gonna lie.

  • High Market: Budget Phyrexian Tower but still a land sac outlet is nice.

  • Yahenni, Undying Partisan: Can help save you from a boardwipe.

  • Fanatical Devotion: Free sac outlet that saves you from boardwipes.

  • Skullclamp: By far the BEST unofficial Sac outlet we have. Find your 1/1s and draw 4 for 1 mana ;)

  • What do we do when we run out creatures? Bring them back!

  • Mothra: One of the best guys we have here. Everyone gets a second chance with her.

  • Living Death: Sac all your creatures or Boardwipe and cast this ftw.

  • Rally the Ancestors: Our curve on creatures caps at 6 I believe so we pay 8 and return all of our creatures there's no reason why we couldn't win by that.

  • Wake the Dead: Similar to Rally but we abuse it by casting during the blocking phase and bring everyone back just to sac them at the end of their turn for extra value. (You choose the order your creatures get sac'd in; so abuse that rule.)

  • Dutiful Attendant: He dies he brings 2/4 creatures to your hand. He is very dutiful as our attendant.

  • Gravecrawler, Reassembling Skeleton & Nether Traitor: Essentially all the same card just with different hoops to return them. All are reoccurring creatures to give us redundancy on our sacs.

  • Our removal package is pretty small just removes threats from the board.

  • Utter End exile any nonland we don't like.

  • Path to Exile: Exile a creature in return they ramp. Choose your battles with this guy.

  • Swords to Plowshares: Exile a creature and they gain life. Not as bad as Path

  • Anguish Unmaking: Another Utter End but cheaper as a result you take 3 life.

  • Damn: Our only boardwipe cuz we don't like losing our creatures unless we choose for them to die.

  • Ramp is very important since we can't Cultivate

  • Sol Ring: Duh?

  • Arcane Signet: DUH?!

  • Talisman of Hierachy: Do I need a reason?

  • Orzhov Signet: Another Rock.

  • Mind Stone: If we get bored of this we can draw.

  • Thought Vessel: I pay 2 for a Reliquary Tower

  • Wayfarer's Bauble: At least we get landramp :p

  • Chromatic Lanturn: Easy mana fixing.

  • Smothering Tithe: The best ramp white will ever get.

  • Here's the tail end of our Journey. Here lies the combos and other things

  • Karmic Guide&Reveillark: Brings all of your creatures back just to resack an infinite amount of times.

  • Tombstone Stairwell&Massacre Wurm: if Massacre Wurm doesn't end them when he hits then Tombstone Stairwell will put them on a timer.

  • Revel in Riches, Pitiless Plunderer & Smothering Tithe one rotation and you should win from these

  • Gift of Immortality&Sun Titan: infinite sacrifices for Zulaport Cutthroat

  • Blasting Station: Has a few combos here ex:Darkest Hour+Teysa, Orzhov Scion & Sun Titan + Gift of Immortality

  • Spawning Pit: Goes infinite with Ashnod's Altar

  • Teysa, Orzhov Scion: Darkest Hour GG

  • Legs. Protect yoself before you wreck yoself.

  • All in all This is my deck.

I hope you enjoy it and let me know how I can make this more competitive but remains budget.
