Tezzeret Goes to the Market (Modern MTG Deck)

A fairly traditional B/U artifact deck. However, I have included Phylactery Lich. It's a complete powerhouse with almost no drawback for such a low cost.

Won FNM! — Sept. 23, 2012

Won this deck's first and only FNM (because of rotation happening really soon).

Round 1: Won 2/0

Didn't have any problems here. The opponent was a new player with a mono-green ramp deck. Just swept the board and beat down with artifacts.

Round 2: 2/0

Against R/W/G/B Birthing Pod, was much more challenging. First game, I was able to hold off long enough to get out Wurmcoil, and back it up with two Trading Posts. Second game, I dropped Torpor Orb third turn, and he couldn't get rid of it. At one point, he was at 40 life and me at 2, but Wurmcoil sorted that out.

Round 3: 2/0

Against Delver, I just kept board sweeping when I could. Eventually, even though he kept returning his creatures and making spirit tokens, I won the battle of attrition in boths games.

Round 4: 2/0

Against Mono-Red, he got mana-screwed both games :D
