hark If you're talking about Executioner's Capsule targeting Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, then that totally works. The activated ability on Executioner's Capsule doesn't count as a spell, and the Capsule itself is a permanent, not a spell, so it can target and kill Emrakul, since he is a colorless, nonblack creature.

tezzeret is amazing

You're naive because

a) you called Tezzeret terrible.

b) you suggested the use of Tibalt, which is objectively the worst walker ever printed, not only that, but this is an ARTIFACT deck.

c) you suggested Dimir Keyrune over Batterskull. This deck tends to stabilise at lower life totals. Burn and Affinity are nightmares. Also, try and kill a Batterskull late game.

d) You're a Troll.

Yo fam!

Hows the deck been testing? I'm kinda curious on how Kolaghan's Command has been treating you. It seems kinda brutal.

Also, how many cards from the list do you have now? I would like an update on that. If you could start a list or something in your description that would be chill.

And thanks for roasting the troll/guy you know (Anthony?). Trolls are bad, right xXxnoscoper_prestigekillzxXx?

Sorry if I'm giving you a hard time xXxnoscoper, but trolls deserved to be pointed out

Been a bit busy with stuff from school lately, so I haven't had much time for testing. Given another week I probably will have some time though. Kommand is a nightmare, although Stony Silence and Kataki, War's Wage are worse for me. I have Spellskite to help manage Kommand and targeted hate. I have all the cards under $5 except for Torpor Orbs, Dimir Signet, Grafdigger's Cage and Thirst for Knowledge (So fkn hard to get). I also have my Game Day Languish and 1 of my Darkslick Shores I'm getting what I need as I go though. I'll add the things I need to the descrition soon though. Thanks :)

I'd recomend playing 4 chalices. Chalice seems to destroy so many decks.

jackanukealty says... #16

Chalice, while great in Legacy Tezz, is less effective here, due to the fact that there are no good Sol Ring lands in modern, and that mana costs are far more varied.

I also play ub tezzeret. My ub tezzeret maindecks 4 chalice's and i've found that more often then not I want to draw chalice. It might be different for your list but chalice has been very helpful. Also i'd recomend cutting both pithing needles. Good luck playtesting

Thanks. The needles are super good though, against tron, affinity, usually infect, merfolk, twin and assorted creatures such as Scooze, Olivia V., Tasigur, I could go on.

Hello. Yes I do need to buy 2 more bridges. No the deck only requires 2. Kolaghan's Command is a card, so is Abrupt Decay. Becoming overly reliant on it is both unfun, and a ticking time bomb

I just want to point out that this deck is really really cool.

I really like the deck! But I'd consider swapping the Cruel Edict in the sideboard for Far / Away. Yes, it gives bogles 1 more turn, but a turn 3 sac effect is almost as powerful as turn 2. The Far half has nice utility, with forcing the re-flip of Delver of Secrets  Flip, re-delving of Tasigur and Angler, and allow you to get another Trinket Mage ETB effect. I think it's worth the switch.

That's all I've got. Good luck finishing the deck!

November 17, 2015 11:11 p.m.

Hello again!

I saw the new list, and immediately thought that Trinket Mage is the best card in the deck. It gets SO many good control cards. I'd even consider switching around some pieces (lowering the cost, cutting cute cards, etc.) to make Trinket Mage work. It just seems ridiculous.
