Hey, I've played tezzeret control on and off for pretty much this whole year. Here are some of my thoughts:
Needle is great to tutor with trinket mage, but generally speaking I think you rarely want to just draw one, let alone two. I'd cut one of them.
Relic of Progenitus has been an allstar for me. Stops graveyard decks like living end while making goyf and snapcaster weaker for your opponents. I run two, since it's at least decent in most match ups and it cycles when it isn't needed.
I suggest cutting the ensouls. I never tried them, but I don't think they really fit in a control deck. Also, it's not an artifact, which does hurt a bit. I suggest replacing them with Wurmcoil Engines or...
Hangarback Walkers! I tried a 4x hangarback the last time I played the deck and it seemed amazing (I went 3-1, lost to merfolk in the finals). It's an early play, which the deck lacks, it's good late game AND is tutorable with trinket mage. If I were to play the deck now, I'd probably go 4x trinket mage 4x hangarback and cut everything over 4 mana.
Liliana of the Veil is a great magic card, if you can afford her. I ran 3 of her. Also, I prefer 6+ hand disruption main in addition to liliana to keep combo decks honest.
Do note that I never played with chalice or bridge in the deck, so my experience with the deck is a little different.

Sadly swaggy, Intuition is just bad here. I could envision playing it in Tezzerator (The version based around Tezzeret the Seeker ), but here it just weakens me. Trinket Mage does the "in a pinch" tutoring and leaves behind a body too. Intuition forces me to pitch my valuable artifacts, and sink mana into it. Just card and tempo disadvantage really, especially on the grind. Also, Intuition forces me to search, whereas the Mage says may. Relevant when trying to get an empty hand for a Bridgehold. Thanks though. I'm a little unsure on Batterskull lately though, would appreciate some feedback on that.

Batterskull matches up quite poorly vs Tasigur and Rhino, I prefer Wurmcoil engine. It's weaker to path and costs more, but it's quite unbeatable in combat.
I just tried out a 4x hangarback, 3x trinket mage build without thirst at a recent tournament, and it worked really well, I went 4-1 (although I didn't face all too many great decks - the zombie hunt match up is just silly). I also had a gifts ungiven in the sideboard, which seemed effective in some match ups. Also the one of wurmcoil works great with the gifts plan since it's a decent unburial rites target.

Like it a ton, will try to build myself, but I'm in a similar money sitch. Did you think about the combo using Ensnaring Bridge and Bottled Cloister?

Hi. They're great in tandem, but, cloister is terrible individually. Also bridge is more a backup plan than anything else, and that would require me to dedicate 8 slots to a combo that may or may not work. I am a little unhappy with the recent price doubling of Ensnaring Bridge, Spellskite and Inquisition of Kozilek, but hey, it's Modern season, they'll deflate by April. Some things I am questioning right now are the second Kolaghan's Command, and Batterskull. Considering switching skull back to an Ensoul Artifact right now. Have a look at the MTGSalvation thread if you wish to play this deck, the folks over there know this far better than I do. Good Luck

Trinkerbell is really good, but a little slow. I've considering cutting Thopter Spy Network for a Hangarback Walker, just to abuse the shit out of it. I need to get some more testing in though
