What does this deck do?

Aquaman (Thassa) is King (god) of Atlantis(the Sea) ruling with his Trident of Atlan (Bident of Thassa). With an Army of strong sea creatures and other Atlanteans (Merfolk) he is strong enough to take on any foe in a battle of EDH.

Why Thassa

Due to his Hybrid physiology Aquaman is stronger, more durable, faster, more enduring and more agile than a regular human. together with his faster healing this makes him almost indestructible, hence Thassas indestructibility comes in handy.

Thassas ability to scry is somewhat in line with Aquamans gifted intelligence.

I went with the DCEU canon as this is a contest for their justice league sleeves, so i disregarded comic canon.

Other noteable Flavor Cards:

Stormsurge Kraken <- gets stronger when Aquaman is nearby (Aquamans Power of Marine telepathy)

loads of Sea creatures <- marine telepathy

quicksilver fountain / Stormtide Leviathan and similar <- Invade and wage war on the Land like Orm Marius tried in the movie. Also, Hydrokinesis.

Card draw <- Aquamans gifted intelligence

Quest for Ula's Temple <- Aquamans Search for Atlans Trident

Deepchannel Mentor <- Vulko, Arthurs Trainer, or mentor if you will, in Atlantean Abilities

Vodalian Knights <- Mera

Lighthouse Chronologist & Arcane Lighthouse <- Arthurs Father, Thomas Curry

Lord of Atlantis <- Also Arthur Curry, sadly not legendary otherwise he would be the commander

Devastation tide <- classic movie trope of oh no Protagonist is in danger when suddelny the perfect save comes around. e.g. when Mera saves Aquaman before he can be executed by Orm after their duel.

Strategy this Deck mainly wants to win, killing your enemies in 2 ways, or winning one alternative, should the game drag out too long.

Either you clear the way for your massive Sea creatures and smash them into your enemies, thanks to islandwalk and other island synergies as well as bounce effects that dont hit sea creatures, or you get a small army of Merfolk that help each other out or are symbiotic with your sea creatures thanks to Xenograft and Arcane Adaptation.

If the game takes too long or you have a group hug or mill player in your group, you will be the first to lose due to having an empty library, because this deck can draw huge amounts of cards. To prevent a loss like that, Jace, wielder of mysteries, Laboratory Maniac and Thassa's Oracle are in the deck.

Edit: Formating and added Strategy
