Anger is really good here, so is the Reveillark+Karmic Guide combo. Personally, I really like using Arcbound Overseer as a recurrable 6/6 that grows!

Check out my Alesha deck here for some more ideas!

Also, a not on xSKINCOLLECTORx's Ebonblade Reaper suggestion, when you recur him using Alesha, his "Whenever Ebonblade Reaper attacks, you lose half of your life, rounded up" trigger doesn't activate because he enters the battlefield already attacking. I would bring him back for the one attack and then chump block him to get him ready to be brung back!

Yes, the same is true for Master of Cruelties and Raving Dead their attack conditions are avoided while their effects still matter, all good targets for Buried Alive.

I think the overseer is a good card, but would be better had I more artifact creatures to benefit from modular more. As it stands I have only 2, I realize there are other's like Pentavus and Triskelion, but then I think it starts going in a different direction and I'd need to compensate further for that sub theme.

Not sure about Anger as Alesha brings them back tapped and attacking as it is. Even if I grab say Karmic Guide +1, or Siege-Gang Commander for tokens, before you get to the ability you have to declare your attackers because of some priority ruling or some such I believe. So the tokens or anything else that comes in cannot be declared even if they have haste.

Thanks for the suggestion, always appreciated. I'll have a look at yours as well.

No Custodi Soulbinders? Gets positively massive on a heavy board state.

Also, Sewer Nemesis can get similarly big against graveyard decks, as its P/T off the battlefield are 0/0.

Soulbinders looks nice, mana sink and potential heavy hitter.

Regarding the sewer guy... does it not fall under these rules? Or does the ETB clause change that?

112.6a. Characteristic-defining abilities function everywhere, even outside the game. (See rule 604.3.)

604.3. Some static abilities are characteristic-defining abilities. A characteristic-defining ability conveys information about an objects characteristics that would normally be found elsewhere on that object (such as in its mana cost, type line, or power/toughness box). Characteristic-defining abilities function in all zones. They also function outside the game.

Sewer Nemesis's characteristic-defining ability only functions if there is a chosen player-- which, if it's not on the battlefield, doesn't exist.

Very cool! Much Budget (Which I like).

I feel like the next step is to get certain creatures into your graveyard. You've got all the discard outlets I like (Cathardic Reunion, Key to the City, Etc.). One I'd consider, but may be a little too late-game with your ramp is Grimoire of the Dead. You've got some great sac outlets, too. Goblin Bombardment might be a good add. With your ETB triggers, Panharmonicon seems good.

If you like Ambuscade Shaman, there's Ogre Battledriver, too.

Replacing Valor in Akros with Cathars' Crusade was the best thing I ever did in my creature deck(s).

I really like your assortment. I think Key to the City, Sol Ring, Skullclamp and Reconnaissance are all must-includes. I would cut the 2 Archetypes and Crovax as they are the weakest targets for recursion. Costly Plunder is probably next (Skullclamp just does so much more work!). Mardu War Reaper is "meh," but I could see it holding value as a sideboard (Agent of Erebos does it so much better).

Temple of Silence, Temple of Triumph, and Temple of Malice are budget duals that have a better effect than the life gain ones. Just a thought.

If you end up sinking in some money, definitely Entomb.

Very cool. Great usages of Ebonblade Reaper, by the way!

Anointed Procession

Way too many extra tokens with Noosegraf and the other token makers.
